Gordon Food Service Store, Dayton OH

Very clean and stocked. They were out of eggs, but that's because their 2 1/2 dozen is priced so well.

Management and stock person does not pay attention to "best buy" dates. I bought 2 pork loins in clearance when I got home noticed it's date was 12/2 a day past. I also bought zing-zang margarita mix and found its best buy was 11/18.
Be careful shopping this location.

It's a great store for buying in bulk. It's a bit pricey but it has everything you need for big parties or for selling your own food, they have food boxes, sandwich boxes, cups, the whole shebang.

Friendly service and as always the GFS brands, real sugar coke in glass bottles, and by far the best popcorn fixings around. GFS popcorn oil and Flavacol!

Love getting things in family size. They take EBT and that is awesome! They are kind, helpful, considerate, and very reasonably priced! The store is clean and spacious, shelves are fully stocked, produce is fresh and gorgeous too! No rotten, molded, or picked too early HERE!

Not as good as they used to be. They didn't have the multipack of shrimp eggrolls anymore. Big letdown: (

Twice I have gone there for bacon and all you have is thick cut. When I told the cashier I thought they should carry more medium cut she replied that she only like the thick cut. Not only was that rude but it showed she lacks customer service skills and has a bad attitude. If everyone liked the thick cut why was the case empty where the medium cut was supposed to be. I hope you really read this.

When my business runs out of a product or my delivery company just doesn't seem to be able to get a product, I can always count on GFS! I called to inquire about a product and the gentleman on the phone asked me to wait while he checked to ensure they had what I was looking for before driving there to get it.
Thank you for doing what you always seem to do, and that is to be stocked and to show your true customer service skills!

Love getting our plates and some groceries items from here. Glad to see t g ey have the 10 in. Plates without the compartments back in stock! Yeah!

The sales associate Ricky is an AMAZING help when I am looking for a specific item. He always helps out so much when I am there!

I didn't feel comfortable asking for help, because everytime I did I felt like I was I bothering them at work. The staff was not helpful at all.

I'm torn between love and aggravation when it comes to shopping here. I always go in for specific things I can't buy elsewhere. It's common for those things to be removed and not carried without any warnings or substitute offered. That's heartbreaking because there's no denying the prices are high but it's worth it to get things in bulk or portioned to my needs which is convenient. Those times when I'm leaving with 2 of 5 items i wanted & they weren't exactly "good deals". I take my time coming back. Consistency and value need some work. You got the product and service part down.

Gordon Food Service has some nice items that you won't find at other places, and some that you might find elsewhere. Remember that this is supposed to be a professional restaurant/food service supply store, not a grocery store. Either way, I feel that most things are overpriced, so I don't purchase much from them except for certain specialty items.

I really need to start shopping here. The cashier was so friendly and helpful. Definitely refreshing considering how the big box stores do not care about their employees working with terrible attitudes
