Gotham Gym/ Savage MMA and Fitness LLC, Hudson OH

Very basic equipment, barely any room to move around, the ceiling constantly leaked on the floor, and the bathroom is carpeted which is unsanitary. I have gotten far better results working out at my home gym.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM! I signed up for a membership about 2 years ago when they were located in Akron maybe a year later I tried to cancel the membership due to medical bills. Josh would not cancel it, he wouldn’t return phone calls or anything so I had to cancel my bank card and get a new card. Just last week I got a phone call from a debt collector saying that I owe this gym over 2,000 dollars from “past due” balance…. Josh is a dirty person. Read all the other reviews on this place of people having the same problems with them getting charged or trying to cancel. This place is nothing but a scam.

This gym is horrible, i never do reviews on businesses but this business owner is sheisty. Charged my card for $58 On the 7th and then did it again 8 days later and ghosted me. Never contacts people back, and do not give him your info from your banking info. Just save the headache and go somewhere else.

These weirdos make up contract terms and when you try to cancel say you owe them thousands of dollars. Stay far away

I joined Gotham in March 2022 and I have not been disappointed for one second. I started out enjoying the 24/7 access. After a couple months of hitting the bags and training on my own, I decided to start doing some one on one sessions for boxing with Steph and Josh. It was the best decision I could of made. My boxing fundamentals and endurance have improved immensely. Their knowledge and commitment to take a client to the next level is second to none.

I didn’t know what to think coming in awls I knew is I needed change. So I took steps to invest in my self with one of the most professional hands down trainers I have ever met. He takes time to teach you the right way no matter how long it takes. Me and my wife have been with Josh since December 19 and have seen tremendous results already. For anyone looking for an elite training program Josh is your man. Precise and calculated. Thank you for working with us.

I can’t speak highly enough of Josh and Steph and the level of professionalism and dedication they have to us as clients. My husband and I decided to invest in ourselves, our health and future with Gotham Gym and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! This isn’t your “average gym” with powerlifters and such. They incorporate various strength, endurance and overall athletic training techniques. I’ve never felt stronger in my life and I’m a 38 year old mother of 4 and it’s only been 1 month! They keep it fun and exciting and with training like this there’s no way to “plateau”. After reading some of the bad reviews on here, the only conclusion I can come up with is these disgruntled people decided to invest in themselves as well, realized the level of commitment it ACTUALLY takes then decided to blame the owners for THEIR OWN LACK of motivation and dedication to actually do the work to improve themselves Go with Gotham Gym… you WILL NOT be disappointed if you actually put in the work and listen to these amazing trainers!

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM! STAY AWAY! The owner (Josh) is sheisty! He moved the location of the gym without informing the clients. I've been trying to cancel my membership for months. There is no contract. It is month to month. I have called, emailed as he requested and gone in person. When I went in person he refused to cancel it. Threatened me and insulted me. I had to cancel through my bank. Do not go here!
