Grand Prairie Farm Market reviews
16One time I was here they had made this mini blueberry loafs. It was like a blueberry muffin but in the shape of a small banana bread loaf. It was excellent would love to get some more. They have a great selection of cheese as well, along with some really good beef jerky. I haven't had the pizza but I really should give it a try I've seen a lot of people come in for the pizza on Fridays.
Great place for meats and cheese. Take n bake pizzas are perfect for after late games and kids are hungry! Wine and beer selection is good too
Tons of cheese and meat. Also frozen pizza and brats and other meat. Few amish things as well as alcohol and ice cream. Pies are good also. They do have pizza and subs fresh to order. Always nice people. Hard to say that anymore.
Want Amish Country brands without making the 3 hour one-way trip? It's right here! Walnut Creek brands, Isaly's Chopped Ham, Isaly's Barbecue Sauce in a jar, baked goods, lottery, thr best chicken salad around and good ham salad however, I add Miracle Whip (I don't like the taste of mayonnaise) and I add Kroger Sweet Pickle Relish and then mmmm-goodness! You can also get Uncle Mike's Beefsticks, beer, wine, etc, and Lottery tickets there.
They also sell pizza, subs and salads (call ahead and order), and also have take and bake pizza available.
You can get ice cream, homemade pies, Ballreich Chips and propane tanks for your grills.
Take Rt. 23 unless you have 6 hours to wait on a train parked across Linn-Hipsher. I'm not figuratively speaking, it literally is parked on average, 6 hours daily so again, if coming from South, take Rt. 23 and make a right at Linn Hipsher (its as soon as you turn off Rt. 23) to avoid the train.
The people behind the counter are hard working yet still manage to stay friendly even while serving ungrateful customers. The owner doesn't hide and I love establishments where the owner digs in and works as well.
I highly recommend!
The pizza is fabulous and the variety of cheeses was surprising. I also enjoyed browsing the wine and moonshine selection. I will be visiting more often!
People there are super friendly. It was our first time there, but we'll definitely be regulars
Great selection of cheeses too
To the male owner there. Most unprofessional rude clown I’ve ever experienced having to talk too. Sign says sandwiches and refused to make one saying to go someone else and buy one? Really? Bet you won’t be around long with that attitude. Glad I didn’t spend money here this business is dying anyways lol.
Except they don't have bologna salad and that was the main thing I went out there for but ended up buying 50 dollars worth of food for the food for the trip
It has a great flea market also, it's also getting a lot more of people up front selling out of their booths a lot of great things to look at and buy. The people that are selling are some of the nicest people you will meet, a lot of different things to see, all the way from new to Collectible and antique you really should stop out and see
Not bad. Lots of neat items at decent prices. Wish the antique mall area would stay open later. Everybody always seems to be in a rush to leave like they don't really want to be there.
Great little market in the the country that has everything from Amish measures and cheeses to local wines. Check it out and support an amazing local business!
A GOOD PLACE TO GET MEATS / CHEESE, AND BEER. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, BUT THEY NEED TO HANG UP SOME STICKY FLYPAPER OR TRY TO KEEP THE FLYS OUT SOMEHOW. FLYS IN A FOOD STORE IS A BIG TURN OFF FOR MYSELF AND MOST OTHERS I'M SURE. THATS THE ONLY REASON I'M RATEING THEM JUST 3 STARS.
Great little store off Rte 23. They carry a sizeable selection of Amish meats and cheeses. Most are Troyers and Walnut Creek variety. So far the only place I've found to carry Fried Chicken Breast lunch meat. It is killer, give it a try once to find your opinion. They also carry Cajun Turkey Breast, another favorite. Staff was helpful, friendly, and didn't make me feel rushed. Will be back again.
Kind of expensive and the carlies brats everyone says are so good where not great at all and 15$ for 2 packs. Kroger brand is better than that.
Place seems like it is shutting down. The antique mall is closed and there r only 2 vendors for stuff in the flea market. The vendor in the back has some stuff that could be worth it. Really only reason to go is the farm market at the front.
