GRA is extremely invested in the success of young men. GRA takes an innovative approach to the development of students by recognizing the unique abilities of each student and engaging with them accordingly. The graduation and college acceptance rate is exceptional. Additionally, the growth these young men experience from year to year academically, emotionally, and socially is phenomenal.

I am a 2013 graduate of GRA and cannot say enough good things about the school and faculty. Beautiful campus, staff that cares and pushes you to be your best, and most importantly a second chance for all of the young men out there who just need a fresh start. Grand River Academy set me up for success and helped me realize who I am and the potential I hold.

So GRA keeps deleting my post some how. Which I thought was impossible or against Googles Policies. I first made this post because of Paris Hilton and the amazing organization called Breaking Code Silence. This is the worst place to send your child. I was physically and mentally abused by my fellow peers and my parents were manipulated by the administration to not believe me. It’s took me 10 years to get over the trauma I suffered at the hands of this institution. It was the worst experience of my entire life. I would suggest reading this court case before you consider this place M. Y.v. Grand River Academy, 54 IDELR 255 (N. D. Ohio 2010). Pretty much perfectly explains the trauma I suffered for 4 years. I wish I knew that I could have taken them to court at the time. Please save your child’s like by not sending them to this prison.

As a student GrandRiver has helped me learn how to focus on my academics while also making me a better leader and person. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity that Grand River has given me!

Overpriced, and an overwhelming lack of care for the students.punishment is archaic and outdated and the chances your student leaves with worse habits than he came with are high.it is a pretty campus, but the pros stop there.

Grand River Academy is the worst kind of the worst school. The Administration is terrible and constantly lying to student and staff.they geniuenly don't care. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND

This is a last resort school, full of all the rejects, drug users, trash, very few genuine people. The facilities are nasty, obselete, not worth the prices. Situations were constantly buck passed, no problems will be resolved because they take them as jokes, especially discrimination. The only problems they solve are for the students who are liabilities. Worst wasted portion of High School time/money. They don’t prepare students academically as they should, especially the “FLP” program which is truly a waste. So glad I didn’t graduate from here.:)

I have seen the positive impact that GRA has had on so many different young men. The faculty and staff are dedicated to help each student reach their goals. I highly recommend Grand River to anyone looking for a boarding option!
