We came here for pizza for the first time the other night, as we heard it was good from others. We ordered one of the gourmet pizzas which came with just about everything on it, and it was absolutely delicious. Has an almost well done cook which we really appreciate. The ingredients were quality and plentiful. The crust is a thin crust crispy and delicious will return again.

Food was great, tv were really loud. Barely empty, two people at the bar area. We couldn't hear each other to discuss anything; nor the server. Got pizza, Stromboli, cheese sticks and a salad. Bathrooms had no TP, no Towels and guys don't lock the doors because they are use to using bathrooms with no locks. So open the RR at your own risk, RR are not assigned. Good luck!

Grandad’s always hits. The Italian and Meatball Subs are superb. If you’re an appetizer kinda person, this place has all the good stuff, especially the Mac N Cheese Bites. Pizza is also great! ️️️️️️

The paper thin Pizza, I can’t and I should have read the reviews…. The mozzarella cheese sticks coating something is not right…so much for trying something new

The Upper Arlington High School Class of 1971 held a "70th Birthday Bash" [since most of us will be turning 70 this year] at Grandad's Pizza and Pub at 1490 Bethel Rd. [in the "The Gables" neighborhood of Columbus].

Many years ago, Gabel's Dairy [that had sold ice cream cones for 10¢, I recall, and you could walk to the back of the parking lot while eating your ice cream cone and watch the cows], had been located "out in the country" just a few blocks away [on Godown Rd.just north of Bethel Rd. ]; hence, the neighborhood name "The Gables. "

Grandad's Pizza and Pub had been closed for our "70th Birthday Bash" though they did allow occasional walk-in customers to enter the restaurant to order and carry out "to go" food.

While I had been waiting for the event organizers to decide to order pizza [evidently they had been waiting for more people to arrive], I ordered a half pound of boneless wings with mild sauce that had been quite delicious.

The pizza [that the event organizers eventually did order] had also been delicious.

Grandad's Pizza and Pub provided a friendly and welcoming environment for our "70th Birthday Bash. " It had been great to spend time with people who I now only occasionally see.

One of the people with whom I had spoken during the "70th Birthday Bash" had been someone with whom I had interacted with most recently 52 years ago.

Fast and friendly service. I got the loaded tater tots and the gourmet pizza, I would recommend both of those. The pizza was great, and the toppings were fresh. They were out of the nachos when I was there, and that is the reason for the 4 stars.

Pizza was good and made to our request (light pepper). It was well-cooked and hot when it came to the table. Took some time so don’t go for a “quick bite” but worth the wait. It was a bit pricey but not so bad we would never go back—we will! Beer was very reasonable cost. Very local family place, not at all fancy, but nostalgic of local paces from my childhood. Good food, reasonable price, family atmosphere.

Put ketchup on cheeseburger pizza and tater tots pizza it makes it taste better. BLT pizza I got side of mayo. But not impressed with it. I'm spoiled by pizza cottage best BLT pizza ever

Had the hot buffalo wings. Very meaty with s slight crunch and not breading. Decent beer selection. Also had the extra large deluxe pizza. Nice coverage of sauce and toppings on a thin crunchy crust.

Went with job Managemant and co- workers. Great time, delicious food & great service.

The Bethel location is pretty cool. Pizza is good. I wish they would add a little sugar to the sauce.

Bar foot rail crazy high, can’t do it. Atmosphere is weird, low music, can hear everyone talking. Good pizza

Food was good. Soft pretzel bites, funnel cake fries. Then their pizzas. We always order the meat lovers extra large pizza.
