Great Lakes Vacuum, Sylvania OH

I bought a Sebo Premium today from Jacob Snyder! He was phenomenal to work with and he even demonstrated how good it was compared to my old Shark I had! 5 stars he was very thorough!

Jacob and Tessa in the Sylvania store were both very pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would definitely refer them to my friends and family.

As a home-handyman, DIY'er, two things I always look for: a clean, orderly shop and a knowledgeable contact person who can
"educate" regarding the merits of the products, rather than one who tries to just "sell" something. GLVacuum (Sylvania) met those requirements. We worked with Logan who was friendly, knowledgeable and helped us select a great product.

My experience at Great Lakes Vacuum has been good. I enjoyed Jacob's customer service, he has been very honest and helpful. I appreciate the non-salesmen like approach!

A terrible experience! I would never refer them to any friend or family. As soon as I walked in the door they were trying to sell me a new and or used vacuum. Knowing I was there to have a belt put on my vacuum. Then I approved a new filter, and $50 later I asked if they could at least clean out my vacuum container.they tell me that's part of a premium pkg. That would be $99. I got a lot of doble talk and lip service from slip and drip. They were just about money and not about service. The only up side, was it was just a $50 mistake.

Got help from two young gentlemen that guided me in the right direction with my new purchase. Greatly appreciated.

I took my Bissell crosswave here for repair under warranty. They are getting a brand new replacement for me and let me keep my new brush roll and new filter. They told me some of the things that may have contributed to it dying and what to do to prevent it with the next one.

Both guys were super nice. They even gave me advice on my Dyson that I have at home and sold me a couple of cool cleaning products.

They showed me a couple of their products but weren't pushy about it.

I don't leave reviews very often, but they were great!

Jacob was wonderful demonstrating the Riccar vacuum to us that we walked out with one! So happy with this vacuum purchase!

Jacob at Great Lakes Vacuum was very knowledgeable and helpful! My boyfriend and I had been researching purchasing a new vacuum online and and had narrowed our search to two brands. We came to this store to see them in person and finalize our decision. Jacob answered all of our questions, helped us demo a few models. After our in-store visit we actually ended up purchasing the brand that we didn’t we would, our in-person experience made a big difference. He made sure we had everything we needed, helped us register the product and assisted with a price match for an online competitor. This was a significant purchase for us and our visit to this store confirmed that we were investing in a quality vacuum that works well and will be reliable for years to come.

We got a Riccar Tandem Air. I'm really glad he was knowledgeable and demonstrated all the features. I knew what I was looking for, and he helped me find the best fit. Thanks Jacob!

Great Lakes Vacuum, is a great Place to get a Vacuum. Jacob was wonderful. I came in expecting to get a Dyson. He showed me a side by side comparison of the Dyson and the Sebo x7. After seeing the difference of what a real vacuum can do. He changed my mind for the better. I was shown what quality vacuums can do, and how they last for 20+ years. What really sold me was how honest and wholesome he was. That be said he was one of the best salesman I've come across.

Absolutely amazing experience. Jacob was amazing. I had an idea of which vacuum I wanted and came in for pricing. Jacob explained to me the pros and cons of the vacuum I had picked out with total transparency and honesty. He had me do a test run on the Miele to make sure I liked the vacuum. After some more talking and finding out my needs / house arrangement he recommended and entirely different brand and model. I tested out the sebo that Jacob recommended and I was surprised by how much I loved it! I’m not the type to make a decision on the spot. He was completely accommodating and gave us time for my fiancé to come in and take a look at the vacuum. We ended up coming back and grabbing the Sebo he recommended!

Professional, friendly, courteous do not even begin to describe the experience I had dealing with Jacob and with the entire experience of buying a vacuum from Great Lakes Vacuum. I walked out with a vacuum, warranty, and replacement bags and I was happy as a clam.

I cannot recommend Jacob + Great Lakes Vacuums enough.
