Greater Cincinnati Police Museum

What a great tour! So much policing history to see and learn about from the retired officers. Give yourself at least 3 hours to see it all. You can take a guided tour or go on your own - I suggest the guided tour!

My brother was in Cincinnati police officer for 21 years then he became work for homicide personal investigation I love the museum because they don't forget the fallen and they don't forget the ones that are deceased they have something for them over the years and I have attended there and it's really really nice and people should get down there and look at it if you had a family member that was a police officer it's very nice and very interesting I cry every time I go because I love my brother and miss him every day they do hard work to keep the museum in tech so please be respectful when entering

120723 this was my 1st time ever visiting the museum. It was really cool! It has an extensive amount of displays & information. The staff are all volunteers & are extremely helpful, knowledgeable & polite. They hope to be moving to a new, bigger location soon. Donations are very much appreciated & go to very good use.

What a cool place. The guys were not only very friendly but very knowledgeable. Tons of history.

An absolutely fantastic museum. We were given an excellent guided tour by one of the retired police who works there, it's definitely worth making a stop here.

Myself and a couple of friends went here over the weekend, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by some very eager and friendly ex police officers. They offered us to either walk around on our own or they offered us a tour and i would 10/10 recommend taking them up on the tour! We learned so many cool facts about the area and the police there and definitely walked away with a much greater respect and understanding of what the police do. If you are in the area definitely stop by!

Everyone was so lovely. There was a lady that showed us around but I can't remember her name. Debbie? She used to be a SWAT officer. She was awesome.dressing up my son in all the uniforms and equipment.
It was a quick, short, exciting tour rather than long and boring where you lose interest. Then we just walked around at our own pace.
I totally recommend bringing your kids.especially if they like police stuff.

While the mission of law enforcement agencies is to serve and protect, it is clear that the Police Museum has a role in preserving and educating as it relates to the history of policing.

Brother Ted, Nephew Randy, and Grand Nephews Mark & Ryan enjoyed our three-hour visit and appreciated your willingness to donate your time and service. The design of the Museum is fun and educational, and the staff delivers from "a walk in the shoes" perspective.

If you haven't checked this place out, you need to! They have so many interesting things to see. I will definitely be back. Also the staff/tour guilds are amazing!

The police museum was full of great information, cool regalia, and amazing pieces of history. What makes it even better are the retired officers who are there to tie the items to real people. They were very kind and have a great tour. Go and check them out!

I volunteer at the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum. It is my opinion that the legacy of the officers goes beyond the artifacts. It resides in the stories of their lives, their sacrifices, and their belief in making their community better through their service to others. This legacy can only be glimpsed by looking through their accomplishments and records and imagining yourself in their shoes at each part of their service. It can be through a Roll Call sheet as much as remembering a fallen officer; their successes as well as their not so successful days. I will include my thoughts as my thoughts. The best way to explore this history, is to go through our displays with one of our volunteers (or even several times with different ones). Ask about our history, our resources will surprise you.
