Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority reviews
16I was treated very poorly upon riding the #1 St Clair bus. The driver spoke to me in a very rude manner and continued raising her voice at me even when asked by myself and another rider not to do so!
Come on Cleveland you can do better then this. Garbage all over the car with a empty trash can on board. This is what my ride was both in and out of Cleveland.
Took the red line downtown with no issues. Getting back home was waiting over an hour for a train and three blew right past us. Ended having to take an uber home. Have had multiple issues like this lately. Might be cheaper than using uber but it's so unreliable which isn't good if you want to make it home. Never again.
Went to get provide a ride pass, picked me up at home and dropped me off, no problems. Nice clean building horrible parking situation.
Disabled and feeling discouraged. Just got my ID and trouble scheduling a trip. They never called me back like I requested. I tried online and for some reason I couldn't enter anything. It was making me use drop boxes. So I couldn't put in a destination. I couldn't put in a time.tried on the phone and wouldn't work. Day 1 and it's not looking good. Getting through to anyone is damn near impossible. I was excited I could finally leave my house.
I completely understand that buses are going to be late. But this is the THIRD TIME I’ve had to make an hour walk home because the 26 cancelled 2 rides in a row. It is currently 40 degrees and I waited an hour for a bus that was supposed to be there in 3 minutes from the time I got to the stop. If you are understaffed I completely understand, but at that point at-least edit your times so people are not sitting in the cold waiting for a non existent bus!
Literally never on time. And they don't care. Customer Service doesn't care. Supervisors don't care. Drivers don't care. ODOT needs to pull funding if the GCRTA can't get it together.
The bus drivers are blind! I request a stop, but they missed it! I had to yell at the driver.she should be informed that if a passenger requests a stop.then stop at the stop!
I need a car.fast!
Came for information got it everyone was pleasant and the customers were waiting for their transportation were being service in a timely manner. Nice to see kindness at its best
I was able to get my disability bus pass customer service was great I was in and out very thankful for the RTA bus system
People think when they get on the bus they are safe they are not the driver does not have the authority to enforce anything if he does get involved he will be reprimanded when he gets back to the district RTA thinks that it can do things putting shiny trinkets on buses or do whatever the fact is safety is the number one concern you don't realize you take your life into your own hands every time you get on a bus
Make sure You have written down what service You need, then be prepared to write down the information they give You.
March 11th, roughly 3: 30, Wooster and Hilliard, your driver went straight from a turn only lane, very fast, nearly running into my car. When I beeped from fear of an accident, he/she honked back in anger. The driver then turned south on Story Rd.honking the horn lengthy as I drove past. The mistake or disregard for traffic signals is one thing, the attitude is another.
Went to renew my Paratransit pass. An Awesome, Nice lady, names Ms. Murray helped me. Really nice building & RTA employees are nice & helpful! RTA, you ROCK! ️
I ride the Strongsville park and ride daily to work. In October of 2021, the bus broke down on the freeway. We had to wait until the next bus came to pick us all up, in the dark morning, on the dark freeway.
The incident made me, and I'm assuming everyone else, 45 minutes late for work, therefore, losing 45 minutes of wages.
After a couple of weeks I finally got a call back from RTA customer service offering me a two ride pass. A two ride pass? ! That's what, a total of $5.00? I lost 45 minutes of wages! What a slap in the face after all the money I spend on monthly passes year after year.
