Very awesome place not only for adults but for boys too! My son needed a back to school haircut and rusty gave him the PERFECT haircut—just the right amount of length was cut off and all the style for an 8-year old boy.

From the phone call I made to ensure there was time for us to come in, from the moment we left after getting the haircut, Rusty was a pleasure to be with. So very kind, professional, genuine, funny, and personable. Truly felt like you were sitting at home with a family member getting your hair cut. If I could give more stars I would. We’ll be making him my sons barber until he retires the business and we’ll be bringing my boyfriend in to get him established too!

I just moved to the area and wanted to find a good Barber. I found Greentown Barbershop on my GPS and glad this one popped up, great haircut, great atmosphere with that barbershop feel. Great conversation as well. Will definitely be going back here every other week. Highly recommend!

Exceptional service. Greentown Barber shop has been my go-to barber for more than 20 years. Though the barbers and owners have changed over the years, the talent continues to be exceptional. Rusty, a Navy vet, currently owns the shop. He, along with Robin and John, make a crew that provides a very good cut no matter which chair you choose. Services include everything from a buzz cut to a crew cut to a Princeton to a slick back to the very rare mullet. The younger clients are treated with gentle instruction in how to hold and move their head for the best results. Rusty is very good at correcting a beard or mustache trim. The conversation, jokes, and stories are geared to those present.

Rusty's Greentown Barber Shop was a great experience. Rusty not only can give you a great haircut, but I feel like I've made a friend. Very friendly and down to earth. Will talk to you like he has known you for your whole life. None of that phony chain store smile but a genuine smile. He wants your business and sees you as more than just a customer. Just went here today and the experience was fantastic. First time at a barber shop and I can definitely say I will be going back to this guy for all of my cuts in the future. Amazing job on the cut!

Rusty was amazing. He took care of me and my two sons cuts and we are very pleased. He's a premium, experienced barber that does ALL the cuts and knows his craft. He is conversational and friendly, we will be coming back.

Just took my father to get all trimmed up after about 8 weeks since he had surgery and Russel did an amazing job with him and got him looking sharp again! He also handled his needs with his hearing very well (my father has cochlear implants and is deaf without them in). Highly recommend this establishment!

I visited here looking for that small, hometown mom-and-pop style barbershop, and I was not disappointed. Good value, good service, many years of experience, and well-recommended.

Was looking for a REAL Barber with old school skills. Russ has it. Both my uncles were Barber, hair stylist they always cut my hair from the first till I moved away. Now 59 I kinda got sick of going to the chain hair cut places because you'd get a newbe and the skills just not on par. Nothing wrong with that. But you never really got the same guy/gal every again. Cutting hair is an art and each stylist, well, has his or her style and skill set. I was just looking for consistency and dependability. Greentown has it.

Bonus. He was cheaper than the chain places.
