Really good BBQ and meat selection. They cook everything to order so expect to wait even if you're in the drive through. Totally worth it though. Best peanutbutter milkshake I've had in ohio.

Called in to place an order for pickup and the girl on the phone was very rude! Needless to say I didn’t place an order and hung up on her. Wonder how many 100 dollar orders they miss out on.

The food is very good. I especially like the smoke wings and Chipotle sauce. I also like their banana splits. The large is filling.

Well I had the prime rib sandwich and the kicking beans and I want to tell you best Dan beans in the land they are just great and the prime rib wea delicious very good.

Didn't I already write a review of his joint? If not. Let's get started. Staff is friendly. Food is very good. I had a pulled pork sandwich, and tried it with all three sauces. All are good. Ice cream was delicious too. If you're looking for some classic bbq head on over, it's worth it. Especially since he's won awards for it.

I love the authentic smoked bbq theme, however the dry rub is a little spicy and it's on 99% of there proteins on the menu.

High remarks on soft serve ice cream, their milk shakes are a tad thick.

The menu is very large, so plan accordingly before using the drive thru only when ordering. Suggest parking and ordering to go.

Also check your order! Placed an order at the counter to go and was given the wrong size beef brisket and noodles.

Staff is friendly however not everyone is well trained at their positions.

A staff meeting could help fix confusion on container sizes. So everyone is on the same page each shift.

Great brisket in Ohio! We are trying to get BBQ in all 50 states. Grilling Dave did not let us down. When I am back in Zanesville, I will definitely go back to Grillin Dave-Style.

Stopped at grilling Dave's for the first time, ordered a Reuben sandwich, it was loaded with smoked corned beef.very good sandwich. It was a little messy to eat, but we'll worth it.

Best service nicest ppl and most delicious and savory foods, ice cream flavors and desserts I've ever had in or around Zanesville's ohio 43701 with in 40 min away! In my opinion!

We stopped here on a Sunday night driving back to Southwestern Ohio from a road trip. It is a little off the freeway and the dim lighting of Zanesville made us feel like maybe we were going the wrong way, but I'm glad we continued on. The service was great, food was phenomenal and the night was a perfect temperature to sit outside on their patio and enjoy our meal. We ordered a brisket sandwich with coleslaw, a meatloaf sandwich, fried green beans and mac and cheese. All were great! I liked the green beans better than the mac/cheese as it was a little on the sweet side for me. Anyway, stop here, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely some of the best BBQ I've ever had! We visited Dave and his crew twice a couple weekends ago while in the area visiting The Wilds. The brisket I had was so tender, smoked, and flavored to perfection. Loved the kickin beans and fried mushrooms as well. Oh, and they have ice cream! I had their ice cream cookie. It's like a brick of ice cream and cookies slabbed together. Awesome! The staff was nice and helpful. Frankly, can't wait to go again! Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

Grillin' Dave's has some very good food. Prices can be a bit pricey but like they say, u get what u pay for. Girls behind the counter are friendly, helpful and definitely team players. Keep up the good grillin'

Disappointed that the mashed potatos were instant and hardly and gravy with my brisket sundae. The brisket was good just a lil spicy.

Heard about this place from a friend. Talk the wife into making the hour drive to try it out. I love the food. The mac n cheese was different. It was the best mac n cheese I've ever had at a restaurant. The bbq was fantastic. Staff was very freindly. I will drive an hour again to eat there.

I had the brisket sandwich, no sauce. I thought the texture of the brisket was excellent it would melt in your mouth but I thought there was just a little heavy on spices. Not bad by any means. Just a little more spicy than what I like. Definitely worth trying. I'll be going back.

Unfortunately the quality of Dave’s continues to decline with every visit. The food is mostly good minus a few things I have tried like the shredded chicken sandwich and some of it taste too sweet. The service is awful. I know you aren’t “fast food” but there should still be a sense of urgency from the staff. I always call my orders in so I can just come and pick them up rather than waiting in line but it makes no difference. It does not make getting your food any faster as you still have to wait in line. They also seemingly have no manager which would explain the lack of urgency and enthusiasm of the staff. I had a major complaint once and wanted to speak to a manager and the worker told me that there isn’t a manager and I would have to call the next day and speak to the owner, Dave. As someone that has been in upper management in restaurants for most of my professional life I have to say there are a ton of things I would go in and change and improve to make the overall experience better. Please do better.
