I wouldn't give this company a penny. They are the epitome of rude and unprofessional. Don't expect customer service, just snide comments. They deserves every bad feedback they have received. Tried to charge me $500 to bid on their auction because of "negative feedback". Promised to "refund" any unused deposit. Bet you I would never see that $ again! I can't see this feedback or refute it in any way by the way. I have bought 1000's of lots from companies all over the country for years on this platform without problems. Condescending as you can see in his reply. I told them I was bidding on one lot less that $100. Neal Grossman also posted a 5 star rating for himself which was reported to google. BOGUS company you should avoid like the plague.

FYI lot I was willing to bid $100 for sold for $46. Huge disservice to consignor.

Feel cheated. Won some lots from a very large retirement home. On the day I was scheduled to pick up I had a few hours to retrieve heavy, large items, many of which required disassembly and everything was located in different rooms throughout the complex. By the time 4pm rolled around the staff informed me that if I wanted the rest of my items that I would have to pay them $150 an hour so one of them could stand around and "escort" us. I tried reasoning with them and they became hostile and I asked for just 20 more minutes and was told I would have to pay $40. I offered $30 and the guy told me he doesn't negotiate and that "I blew my chance", walked into the building and locked the door. The remaining lot that I paid for and denied of had items that was going to make the investment worth it for me. Some of the staff was kind and helpful but the head honchos were rude and unprofessional and it feels like this kind of thing is a common practice because they also sell on ebay, probably the items they cheat people out of.
I've done many auctions and have never been treated or cheated like this and will never do business with this company again.

Michelle and her team at Grossman are wonderful. My company deals with auction houses on a weekly basis and it is rare to come across such a friendly, forthcoming and helpful group. You can sell, bid and buy from Grossman with confidence. Looking forward to the next auction!

This place is a total scam. They will not take left bids or phone or credit. The last rustic bank auction was totally fixed.buyers beware.
