Gually’s Bakery & Restaurant reviews
12I love buying food from Gually’s bakery. They’re so kind! And amazing. And the service is outstanding! I always recommend my friends to go here.
Gually’s is a bright and lively Puerto Rican Bakery at the corner of W62nd and Dennison. They have off street parking behind on both sides of W62nd. In addition to bakery there are made to order sandwiches, a ready made hot food counter, a small specialty dry goods area, and dine in seating. The food looked so good and the staff was so helpful and friendly we got more than we could eat in one sitting, so we are looking forward to trying the empanadas, which are freshly made and look delicious. However, everything we did eat was delicious. Both their sweet and water bread were excellent and for me their loaded fries were on another level altogether. We will be back.
The food did not have any flavor. I don't know if they have improved their cooking, but the day I went, I bought 4 different orders, and none of them were impressive.
The server was very friendly and took her time describing the food and other Puerto Rican dishes. The food was exceptional 10 out of 10, and the prices were affordable. I will definitely be going back to taste some more deliciousness from my beautiful Island. Weeepaaa
I liked the atmosphere, very intimate and familiar. I loved the "surrullito" (I don't know if it's written correctly, I'm Dominican, not Puerto Rican, it's the first time I ate it), and the empanadas, really delicious
The best Patricia and Juana without them there is no good service
Food dependslonque is oh whoever cooks it is good in short customer service I give 1,000 with both of them
I went yesterday September 26,2023 about closing time 5: 30 pm and and the attendant said we don't have much but.she told me what they had so I agreed on getting white rice and chicharrones I wanted beans but they didn't have none so she said we have a steaksauce I can pour over your rice and I said ok cool wh en I got home opened me tray I couldn't believe this woman gave me pure oil on my riceI couldn't eat my dinner and she charged me full price I don't think this is fair I won't be bringing my happy self back to this money hungry place again
The Boricua waitress who serves is the kindest, gentlest and most helpful woman, she is excellent in customer service and the food is very good, that is my Barbie Boricua. I love her with all my heart Att: Your Hershy Negro Emmy
Dad Started Caibe Bake Shop in The 60s and Gually and His Wife have Done and Kept a Great Puerto Rican Tradition Going and Have Made A Name for Themselves
Very good food and pasties are to die for love going there the atmosphere is very great nice workers and its always busy but they get everyone quick
From Pennsylvania to Cleveland and through Guallys Bakery.
Everything is fresh and delicious.
Horrible. Ridiculous prices which make it difficult for anyone to tell me that a little White Rice and a piece of chicken are $11 dollars. They are abusers on top of that who treat employees like dogs when they preach the word of God. I didn't have them on a pedestal because at one point they were different than Caribe and Villas, but I soon realized that they have become the same as bad.
