Guggisberg Swiss Inn-Ohio Amish Country

Beautiful grounds.winery with excellent tasting wine.a great inn to stay overnight or a few days. They also have horseback riding.

Motel style place. Location and grounds were excellent. Away from all the hustle, gorgeous grounds with a large pond and ducks included. Nice place to relax and just enjoy the peace. They have horses that roam the property but due to severe storms that day and the property being very wet the next day did not see any. Rooms are just ok, nothing special. Great location very near Guiggisberg Cheese on 557. A winery is on site but the wine is not very good. Will be back just to enjoy the scenery and chill.

I love that the horses roam the property. They are so friendly that they will just walk up to you for a little attention. The inn had live music on Friday and Saturday nights. It was nice to grab a bottle of wine and relax. We shared cheese fondue for dinner. It was very tasty. We also enjoyed the swing in the gazebo and that there were so many relaxing gathering areas throughout the property. It's an absolutely beautiful property. You can also sign up to take a horse ride.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The rooms are so clean and the staff is so friendly. Beautiful property to relax and unwind. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you and keep up the great work! We look forward to coming back and staying here again! Definitely a hidden gem!

2nd time coming here and got to stay. Came for a wine tasting my 1st visit and had a fantastic time. The wine is really great quality and delicious. Came back and stayed with some girlfriends. We had a really great trail ride, enjoyed good food and wine. It was a great time all around!

Very beautiful property. Horseback ride this morning was great! Nice wines. Disappointed that the horses never were out roaming the property. That was one of the reasons we chose this Inn. When I ask the girls at desk, they just keep telling me they hope they come out too. I know it’s out of their control.

We enjoyed the winery as well! Our friends and we sat at the gazebo with a bottle enjoying the ambiance.

I stayed this past weekend for a girls trip for wine tasting and relaxation and this place just made the trip perfect. The location is gorgeous and convenient. Seeing the horses roam the property and the ducks in the pond was lovely. Beautiful grape vines outside your door for the wonderful wine they make! We were able to buy a bottle and sit outside and listen to live music without having to worry about driving anywhere. Coffee in the morning by the pond in your choice of a gazebo, rocking chair or a swing - perfect. And the family and staff are simply charming and friendly. I could not recommend this place more and can't wait to go back.

This is our second time visiting! Love the relaxing and quiet location. The staff is always friendly. Enjoy sitting outside, feeding the ducks, and petting the horses. If you want you can schedule a horse ride!

We had a nice weekend and enjoyed Josiah on Friday night. I will definitely suggest trying Guggisberg Swiss Inn.

Quaint little inn in the middle of Amish country Ohio. Step out of your door to a beautiful view of the valley. This is also a winery with a good selection of wines made on site by a talented vintner. I'm a concord fan and it is spot on! Not far from all the Amish shops in Berlin as well. Off the beaten path but not too far from it Clean rooms, good breakfast and very quiet.

Very serene and peaceful stay! Heads up, they are closed on Sundays. You can visit for a wine tasting, come and pet the horses and donkeys, go horse riding, and extend your visit by staying overnight. The Inn is just under 3 miles away from the town of Berlin, where you can go antique shopping and enjoy some great local ice cream. If you choose to stay, there is complimentary breakfast, and the options from the buffet are made right at the Inn. As much as I liked spending time the night before tasting wine and enjoying plenty of outdoor spaces, breakfast the next AM was a pleasant refresher. We really enjoyed our weekend get away celebrating our 36th Anniversary. The inn was above and beyond our expectations. The horse ride with Matt as our guide was spectacular. The live entertainment in the evening WAS AMAZING! The staff was AWESOME!
