Guido's of Kent

They made pizza for my sons birthday yesterday. It turned out awesome. They are really nice and always on time! My new favorite pizza spot!

I didn't like the fact that I was there to pick up my order a customer walks in and proceed to walk up to the counter cutting in front of lady that was in front of me, she politely tells him there is a line, one of the workers hear her tell him that after she gets her food the worker gives him his food and say forget me even though I was behind the lady very bad customer service on the worker behalf.

Why no bread with family lasagna or rolls, but bread with lasagna dinners?

I haven't had food from this Guidos in a couple decades. When I discovered they delivered to the Stow side of the Stow/Hudson border, I ordered pizza, coleslaw, and jojo's. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely order again.

I ordered a large 2 topping pizza last night. Was so disappointed because it was burnt and very greasy. I’ve been going to Guidos since I was a kid but I’m going to have to stop, the quality isn’t good anymore.

Ordered pizza Chx and jojos terrible ice cold pizza cheese looks like it sat for ever soggy Chx and pizza and jojos were not even cooked! $40 wasted tonight! Said an hr for delivery 1 hr and 47 min later it arrived!

This is hands down the best pizza shop in Kent. The pizza has so much flavor and the chicken is so crispy and juicy. Cannot wait until my next visit!

UPDATE: SO not as good of an experience this time. Took two hours to receive our food. Pizza and chicken were cold and a couple pieces of chicken were pink (raw looking) in the center. They've just not been able to get it together! I remember their sausage pizzas were addictive. We ate their food a couple times a week but somewhere along the line 10+ years ago it all changed. Too bad.

Original Post: Been going to this Guidos for 30 years and today I ate the best char broiled chicken I'd ever eaten! The skin was perfectly rendered, well seasoned, and all the great juices were in the bottom of the pan it came in to dip it in. Was just? Perfection!

I just ordered catering from Guido's for a party. I was nervous because I had never tried their food and recent online reviews might have made me think twice. I'm very glad that I decided to give them a try. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food that we got. The food was delivered on time and the delivery person help us set it up. Everything was delicious. Our guests were happy and asking where the food came from. I will definitely be using them again in the future and am so grateful that they helped make our day a success.

We never order out but tonight we wanted chicken. Called guidos not knowing their menu at all, and a worker named Adam was calm and helped me order exactly what I wanted. I heard the phone ringing in the back ground, so i know they were busy too! Awesome customer service and he deserves a raise. Thanks Adam!

My husband and I picked up chicken and jojo's tonight. Very disappointed. The chicken was so dry and the potatoes looked like they've been around for awhile and nothing was very hot. We have ordered food from them over the years and been great. The last two times the chicken was terrible. The second time was, let's try it one more time.bad mistake.

Guido's Pizza of Kent used to be a long standing pizza shop with arguably some of the best pizza in this area, however, after almost 20 years of service they've failed horribly with a long term customer.

Keep in mind these pizza's were handed off in a bag, fully hiding the fact that the boxes were squashed beyond all reason or this wouldn't have been accepted.
This is the sloppiest pizza I have ever received from Guido's or any other pizza place in my entire 30+ years. If that isn't bad enough, instead of offering to remake the pizza's or give a refund for their horrible employee's service. They instead gave one newly made pizza in exchange as all that they could offer. Absolutely unacceptable under any circumstances. These pizza boxes are almost flattened, the pizza's are so squished that what should be a regular slice is now a block of squashed pizza mixture, along with an undercooked dough. Horrible.

I was underwhelmed. Pizza was fine, but the place is dirty and greasy. With as many local pizzarias there are around, I doubt I'll return.

Diamond in the rough! We have been getting pizza from this little pizza shop for over 30 years. It is one of a kind pizza. Pick up only. We take it to nearby place to enjoy. Close to the Kent campus, so that's usually where we eat it. The crust is wonderful. Airy but not too fluffy. Sauce is not sweet, and has an authentic taste. Pepperoni or cheese is not smoked which is what we like. Fresh ingredients are used. The pizza is always consistent. Side salad is good portion. I've heard that their chicken is great too!

Love this pizza, lived on the west side of Kent, and remember when they were at Longmere and main, every bit as good as it was then, keep up the good work
