Keep ur mask handy or covid Karen will ROCK you! I was covered but some OG was properly shown the door. Only needed some picks but the woman at the counter was too busy selling reverb pedals to acknowledge me or call for help. They were not busy. Sam Adams opens in 5:)

They advertise a few items to lure you into the store, only to insult your intelligence and say; oops, we just sold those items.whatever

While the store looked picked over (I'm sure there are supply chain issues) the selection of guitars was extensive. There were multiple brands and styles (teles, strats, 335s, Les Paul's, etc). The staff on the night I was there were very polite and helpful.

It’s no wonder guitar center is bankrupt with trendy policies and failed practices. Do yourself a favor and go to a local mom and pop store. Avoid

I was having a few issues with my bass and took it into guitar center to get looked at. I was a bit nervous, as this was my prized bass and I wanted it to get back to its full glory.

Jeremiah promptly called me back the next day after taking a look and explained what was going on, and provided me with an estimate. He then worked with Music Man to order the needed parts and kept me looped in during the process.

He did a great job handling the repair and I'm very happy with how the bass is sounding now. The estimated repair cost came out spot on, and he even got the repair completed a bit ahead of schedule.

I would gladly take my instruments back and work with Jeremiah again.

Received my Ibanez $1000 guitar today. Came in a squirer box with 1 layer of bubble wrap. The guitar came incomplete without the strap connectors and had blemishes on the head stock and body. I was prepared to keep the guitar provided GC shipped out the missing part. After talking to customer service for an hour and Kansas they traced the Shipment came from the store in Ohio Columbus they told me to call and ask to speak to the Team lead. Mike did not even give me a chance to finish explaining the issue with the purchase. He dismissed me saying return it to the nearest guitar center. Which I will do and GC after 20 years I will no longer support. Mike at the Ohio store should be demoted, he should not be customer facing

Dave (I think) is incredibly friendly and easygoing. I think this is a great guitar center, the employees are all friendly and always want to help you

So at first when we got there as they were opening for the day
But after a few they were real helpful and then after asking to see and check out a 2k gutiar they were on it
Then the salesman stated that since we drove so far and waited patiently he took 10% off

It is a big store, there are lots of music products, but was never approached by an employee asking if I needed any help. We were looking at keyboards and ended up leaving after browsing their inventory, but had questions. I like how different instrument types have different sections. There is a stage setup inside for small gigs and they have various rooms for trying out instruments without annoying other customers.

In terms of guitars there is hardly a second in Columbus. It’s called Guitar Center for a reason… I have been in a few times, there are used and new, and far more than simply guitars of course. Sound equipment, mixing, percussion, as well as lessons and much more. I have found some of the staff to “gatekeep” as they say. That attitude can be off putting, the staff should be helpful and impartial. Outside of that it’s a great establishment.

I always take my grandfather here, but they are low on staff so patience is key. Overall very helpful. Out of some products.

Went to find a guitar because my son wants to learn. Asked an employee for some help since we didn't have any idea about to look for.
He pointed to the guitars and told me to choose one within my price range and he will see if they have a case for it. Gave no info on what to look for (styles, wood, plug in acoustic).
Not happy so left without a guitar and will go somewhere else.

I originally had trepidation about coming here, I prefer smaller, mom and pop style businesses, and was worried that in coming to a mega-corporation's music store that I'd try to be upsold, and ultimately would be treated like a walking wallet. Visiting this guitar center 5-10 years ago, I felt treated in that way. Fortunately, I was very wrong this time around. The employees at this store are very warm and friendly, and also don't pester you, I was mostly left to myself, and wasn't asked every 5 or 10 minutes if I could be helped. Danny in particular is wonderful to deal with and I hope everyone has the pleasure of being helped by him! This guitar center also has competitive hours in that they are open earlier and later than every other music store around. I am a morning person and it's great having a store that opens before noon. Their selection is also second to none. I have gotten drum machines, moog synthesizers, guitars, and pedals from every name, including a couple boutique and more sought after brands like walrus audio. They also have been offering me a neat 10% discount when I trade gear for another piece of the gear in the store, which has been great to take advantage of. In short, go here! They've got a great bunch of people there right now, and it's the best it's been in years.

They are pretty understaffed (at least when I went) and most things are low on stock. I was trying to dip in, get some guitar strings, and leave. I had to go find someone to help me out real quick since no one was even near the register. Otherwise I love this place.
