7Crew 402 just finished a job on my condo in Wadsworth & I’m so pleased with their work! I can’t say enough about Tim Murphy and his crew!
Sales, installation, and project management are the definition of incompetent. Service staff has been good but I only know that because they’ve had to fix everyone else’s mistakes.
Let’s go on a journey dating back 6 months. I ordered my door in May. When it finally came in it was missing parts so installation delayed. After hearing nothing for weeks I finally call and lo and behold Ed the project manager says I was on his list to call that day my parts are in and thy can get out that week (this is foreshadowing for you literature fans). Guys come out to install and they’re still missing a piece of exterior molding. I at least wasn’t charged the sales guy just didn’t order it because everyone wants all new shiny white molding minus one 30 year old faded piece, that’s a great look. Had them install anyway and can overhear them talking about how they have never done this type of door and don’t really know if it’s right. Well it wasn’t. We have a double front entry and they broke the locking pins that fix one door in place. So a tech comes out and gets it to at least be secure but entire part needs ordered. This is August so already 3 months in. We hear NOTHING for months. I know supply chain is slow so trying to give the benefit of the doubt. Finally call again talk to that same PM Ed and wouldn’t you know it, my paperwork and parts are right there and he was just about to call me. Service tech (who again was great) gets out the part…. Its the wrong one! He gets is operational but we’re at 6 months and I still don’t have the door I paid for. Thinking it’s time to forward sales contract to my attorney and see if we’ve got a leg to stand on. Plus side the door is gorgeous. Pella makes a good product just absolutely do not buy them through Gunton. I have 24 windows original to my house that I plan to replace shortly and that could have been your business but I’d rather stick a fork in my eyes than deal with you again. How such a collection of people so bad at their jobs all found the same employer is borderline miraculous.
Service tech George Piero is OUTSTANDING! He's EXTREMELY talented, professional, efficient and polite.
Give that guy a BIG raise!
Ordered 24 windows and 1 sliding door on 2/4/2023. Install was the week of 6/19/2023. Need to replace 12 items from this install due to POOR PELLA QUALITY. (Cracked and melted frames, crooked grids, grids in the wrong location, dented slider, torn and bent screens) Estimated replacement items are another 6-8 weeks. Communication with Gunton Corp is terrible / nonexsistent. Have not heard 1 word from any sales manager.
Mark here is a great salesperson who knows his windows and made good recommendations on what to buy, how to get the most out of the project.
The quote I received was 38% higher than Lowe's for the same exact product and service so I had to pass on it, but the sales experience was still a pretty good one. I just thought the mail flyer stating 50% off service was.real. Whoops. No hard feelings. No more fake flyers please.
Beyond horrible.
Quality of work so poor it required a complete re-do on 2 out of 2 installs.
The dictionary should have their customers service team as the definition of condescending.
Did I mention I've been waiting 7 months for screens? Maybe next year if the stars are aligned.
