Gwendoline Fang, MD, Ontario OH

The nurse and Dr Fang both did very well at their job, I was nervous before the appointment but now Im sure I won't be for the next ones, 5 stars.

Dr. Fang is an wonderful doctor, the staff is amazing I feel like family. I highly respect her. She is an amazing person. If she is worried about anything that has to do with the baby or with your health she is not afraid and she is so real. I love that office everyone is so friendly. You don't wait that long for your appointment. I can go on and on but I'm going to stop.

Dr. Fang is very sweet and friendly. She is very concerned about the health of her patients.

Dr Fang is amazing! So patient and kind. Paula is very helpful and personable! The nurses are the best!

Everyone was very kind. Holly did a wonderful job and is a very kind and compassionate nurse.

Not a Fan… 1st visit I left feeling unsure if this could be my ongoing gyn. 2nd visit left me scratching my head, when I went in for some test. She said do you know what we are doing today. I proceeded to say yes you’re wanting to do this test to see (_). She Responded well IT IS Your choice, if you don’t want to have it done you don’t have to. Do you want to have it done? (Spoken in a snippy way) maybe I worded it wrong, but clearly I was consenting to the test or else I wouldn’t be there plus you have to consent before anything is done anyway. After saying yes she continued with the procedure. No warnings of what is about to happen or what it may feel like. 3rd visit was the results. She went over them and gave me options for treatment. I said if I was your family member what would you recommend. She replied well You Are Not my family member and if you were I would be telling them the same as I just told you and they would have to decide! …… Well that comment had me going somewhere else. She really needs to learn better ways to talk with her patients.

I decided to have a procedure to help with some heavy abnormal bleeding that Had been bothering me for at least a year. Dr. Fang made me feel very comfortable during the pre op visit. She was very kind and was very considerate of the fact that I was very anxious, so she took her time to assure me that I would be well taken care of. She did exactly that! Wish I would have consulted with her sooner. She never pushed anything on me and let me decide what was best for my lifestyle. Informed me of all the different options I had available before I decided on surgical management. Would recommend her if you are looking for a doctor that is straight forward who allows you to be an active participant when it comes to making decisions for yourself.

Dr. Fang rushed in & took tests in her regular clothes (was not gentle) and rushed out. I don't think she even did a full exam. She spent no time sitting and talking to me & refused to give me certain tests I asked for. She was not kind at all. Her nurse, Holly, was very kind & listened to all I had to say. I'm very disappointed with this OBGYN. Will not be returning.

Had such a wonderful experience delivering our second child with Dr Fang at Avita Ontario! Dr Fang was fantastic to work with throughout the pregnancy and was always so sweet with our older child who came to appointments with me. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Avita Ontario wad a beautiful facility!

This was my first appointment with her. My experience was very good. The staff was friendly and kind. Dr. Fang was also very kind and professional. Everything was explained and she answered all my questions. I never felt rushed.

She seemed very full of EGO. Did not even tell me I had an infection, found out 6 months later looking through my records. I really was taken back at the lack of intellect. She even laughed at me for my symptoms and made me extremely uncomfortable.

I loved Dr. Fang! She was my OB with my first child. She is a no nonsense kind of doctor so if you want someone to beat around the bush, this isn't her. She always made sure to be very thorough if anything seemed amiss during my pregnancy. She recommended us to MFM in Columbus a few times for follow ups on some issues which gave me peace of mind. Her staff is very nice as well. My baby is here and healthy and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to deliver my child.

I found Dr Fang to be very cold and rigid. She was not helpful in the least. I had to ask her many questions as she was not forthcoming with information. I was very disappointed. I ended up going to Planned Parenthood today for an annual exam. Their customer service was exceptional! I will not be returning to Dr Fang and I will definitely be sharing my experience with others in the medical field. I am an RN. Kindness and compassion in medical care, especially woman’s care goes a long way.

Horrible bedside manner, no compassion, and straight-up refuses simple requests. I will never see her again. I have never left a bad review on anything, that’s how bad she is. The only reason that I gave her one star is because she delivered my son. She should try to remember that she works for her patients and that she should find a different profession if she wants to continue being rude and condescending to patients, especially hormonal women.

First appt with this doctor and will be my last.
She was horribly unfriendly very directive.
Had vaginal exam and was told they would call with results.
Results posted on My Chart the day of the appt.
I was not contacted by the office for a week and was then put on antibiotics for a significant
Infection.
Not impressed!

She is excellent and straight forward; treats you as she would like to be treated. She listens thoroughly!
