Hampton Inn Columbus/Delaware I-71 North, Sunbury OH

Love this hotel. The rooms are always clean and ready. Staff pleasant, helpful and efficient. Breakfast selection nice and kept filled. It is the perfect location for a night's rest after a long day of driving. Close to the highway, multiple food and gas options. And if you have the time, very close to an outlet mall for your shopping pleasure.

Always a good stay at a Hampton. Nice middle class hotel. No complaints. Nothing outstanding either.

Love this Hampton Inn! I stay here a lot for work and the staff treat you like family. I always appreciate their kindness when I’m away from home!

Abbie at the front desk made the experience wonderful! So refreshing to be greeted with a smiling face! Room and amenities were as expected.

Kazim at the front desk was very friendly and also kindly resolved an issue with a charge on my account. Breakfast was a nice plus too.

Best hotel we've been at at the price point in awhile. Everything was clean, shower worked great, bed was comfortable.

Room not cleaned. Ran out of food at breakfast and pretty well ignored us when we told them.

Rude, unhelpful staff. I borrowed an empty cart from the hall to move heavy boxes back down from the 3rd floor to my car. I'm 70 with degenerative disk disease and needed a cart, no luggage cart was available. While bringing that loaded cart down the elevator, I was accosted by a staff member and told I couldn't use the cart. I unloaded it and returned it to the desk. While I was waiting for the elevator, I was called names by the same staff member. When I came back down from my room with the last bag the alarm was going off on my car, parked right outside of the front door. I guess it is easy for them to be abusive to older citizens with disabilities.

This Hampton Inn is a great place to stay! I have always enjoyed staying at these hotels and the one in Sunbury, OH is no exception! The hotel is comfortable, clean, well maintained, up-to-date, safe, good complimentary breakfast and cookies were great! Staff was friendly and they accept pets! I was able to stay at one of my favorite hotels with my dogs! Love it! Highly recommend!

OK. We reserved a room for 2 adults and 4 children, but it only had 2 beds in it. I'm not really sure how that was supposed to work, but because I don't sleep well on mattresses anyway, I just put some blankets on the floor and slept there and it worked out. A little annoyed though. They did get us extra blankets and towels as soon as we asked, and the proprietor was friendly and helpful. There was room to hang a few clothes, some hangers, an ironing board, and a small refrigerator (no freezer), and microwave. Overall it seemed very clean except for a small mystery splash on the wall. (?) Our room was right next to the elevator and I was afraid we'd hear a lot of coming and going at night, but actually I didn't hear anything. They must have good soundproofing! Breakfast was pretty good, as continental breakfasts go. There is no view to speak of from this hotel, just parking lots. It is right by a gas station and near shopping centers, so that was convenient.

On the sheets of one bed, when you pulled the covers back it was full of, seemingly, a prior guest's hair. On the sheets of the other bed, there were black stains all over. When you pulled the comforters back on both bed, the dirt was so obvious.

After seeing this as a welcome, I booked a hotel somewhere else. Walked in no one at the desk use the bathroom near the lobby dirty! Not normal for most Hampton Inns. What a dump!

Kazini at the front desk was very fast and courteous. He made our stay very comfortable after driving 500 miles. Very clean rooms and good breakfast.

Hotel was in a great location, but our room was in need of some repairs. Toilet didn't work properly and sink faucet leaked all over the counter. Seemed like they were very understaffed. We were only staying for the night or we would have complained and changed rooms.

A burnt out light bulb was replaced immediately. Unfortunately, there were small gnats in the bathroom. Thank God there were no bed bugs. The king size bed had small standard size pillows. It was right off the expressway and near the venue of the wedding we were attending.

Could be cleaner, gave our room away to someone else, but after 45 minutes we finally got a room. Breakfast was great,
