This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. We had a suite booked for 5 weeks for an end of the season cheer party. Not all girls were staying the night, and we were told we were able to use the pool as much as we wanted too. We called the hotel and explained to them the situation with how many girls we had and what we were doing, and we were assured we would have no issues and that it was 100% okay. So, we booked the room, and they took the money out of my bank account. I called the hotel the night before and asked if I could come decorate early in the morning if nobody else had booked it the night before. I was told to call back in the morning that they couldn't tell me then, okay cool no problem. I called in the morning and was greeted with "Rachel" the assistant manager there. She was extremely rude from the beginning of the phone call and after asking if we could come decorate early, she said "oh we double booked that room for tonight, so I have to cancel your reservation". Obviously, my response was like "umm, what do you mean, I have cheerleaders looking forward to this tonight and we have already paid. She continued to be rude and hateful and stated "Sorry, nothing I can do about it, you'll be receiving a refund, have a great day, and hung up on me. I then called corporate and spoke to them about the situation. They were nice and apologized for that managers behavior and agreed to the fact that the situation was not okay. Upon talking to them, they assured me that I would get my money back and that they were looking into this case. Well, I reached out today to corporate again about my refund and they proceeded to tell me that the manger from this location has closed my case, and she cancelled my refund from coming through. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Luckily, corporate is investigating this and working to get my $240.00 back that it cost me to book a room that they cancelled on me. I would never take the chance of booking with this place again. Beware before booking as Ive now heard of many other instances like this from this specific location and manager.

I won't be back there it started out as soon as I checked in I saw 2 homeless people sleeping in the lobby/breakfast area and when we called it a night at 1am they we still there I only know because I am a smoker and was out often. Then I was charged a cleaning fee for putting all my trash in a pile, all towels in a pile

King suite was big and nice. The bed was too firm for me. Shower had great pressure and water got hot fast.

I've been staying here since it was brand new. Starting to see some lack of maintenance. Ceiling above my shower had water marks from leaks in the floor above. My refrigerator wasn't really cold. Carpets were stained. And my main door didn't shut quite right. I had to make sure I turned around and physically closed it. It wasn't shut when I got there. Despite these things, I will probably end up staying here again as it is still the best hotel in town.

I booked a room for my family back in February so that we could attend the funeral for my mother, who had recently passed away. Had a very poor experience with the staff of the hotel, and would NOT recommend this place to others based on the less than professional dealings we had with these individuals.

Please do not ask me to contact your firm to discuss my concerns. Based on the experiences we endured in dealing with the employees at this hotel, I do not wish to have any further dealings with anybody tied to this particular, Hampton Inn.

I went in to fill an application out. I was presently surprised at how nice it was. The staff was also nice and helpful.

Stayed here as a cheaper option as compared to staying in Beavercreek. That was immediately changed after experiencing the dirty rooms and having property stolen.

I had a 200$ item stolen from my room by the cleaning staff. When getting the police involved, the staff were more worried about their own personal issues with the police than worrying about their guest. This was enforced when i was told by both the hotel staff to not trust the police and by the police to not trust the hotel staff.
When talking with the manager about the stolen property, I was promised an investigation on the missing item and was told I would be contacted with any information. There has not been any contact with me about the investigation in over 2 months.

Stay here as a last resort, or if you hate the police and if you lose something you are out of luck as the staff has zero care for you.

We were traveling to Ohio for my grandmother's 85th birthday party. We had booked a 2-night stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Xenia Dayton, from 9/15 - 9/17. We had a 7.5 hour drive and got on the road late after long work days, which put us arriving at the hotel around 2am. We received a call from the hotel at 9: 50pm on 9/15 confirming that we were coming because the hotel was full. I think the woman's name who called us started with a 'J. ' We let her know that we would be there around 2: 00am and she confirmed that there would be someone at the front desk to check us in when we arrived. We continued our drive and were so happy to finally be able to crawl into bed after our long drive only to arrive and be informed that our room had been given away. The woman who called us was no longer there but her relief called the manager, Bradd, who did nothing to remedy the situation. Instead, he only informed her that there were no nearby rooms AND that she needed to charge us $207.46 for a no-show fee even though THEY GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY. After numerous phone calls, GM Bradd refused to answer the phone. This left us with nowhere to stay and we were essentially told we needed to leave because we no longer had a reservation. Because it was well after midnight, we could not easily search for available hotel rooms on our phones, which meant we spent the next hour driving to whatever hotels we could find nearby to see if they had any vacancies for the prior night. We finally found a hotel in Dayton (over 30 minutes from my grandmother's house) and checked in around 4: 00am. However, that hotel did not have a room for the following night so we had to check out at 11: 00am before checking in to yet another hotel for 9/16.

When we tried to escalate this situation, the woman we spoke to at corporate informed us that the hotel hung up on her when she called to discuss our situation. She opened a case for us and a week later we still have not heard from anyone at corporate or from the hotel itself. The fact that we confirmed we were coming and they still gave our room away knowing that would leave us with nowhere to stay in the middle of the night is unforgivable. This is in addition to being charged a no-show fee, which neared the nightly rate for the room, even though there was nothing in any of the confirmation emails or Terms and Conditions that stated we needed to check in by a certain time.

If you value your time and wish to be treated with respect, you should never waste your time by staying at this hotel. The AC Hotel in Dayton was absolutely fabulous and I would definitely recommend in lieu of this establishment.

Stopped in and told them I needed a room. She gave my total and I said I need it for 2 nights. She said we are booked and only have a room for tonight. I told her I understood and thanks but would go elsewhere because was going to be in town 2 nights. She got really rude and said I’d have to pay a cancellation fee. I said I’m not canceling you don’t have a room for 2 nights. She said I didn’t state that I wanted 2 nights so now I have to pay full price if 239.99 whether I stayed or not. I asked to speak with a manager. She said there wasn’t any manager there. She was so rude and it took everything I had not to cuss her out. I stayed due to no choice and had to check out at 11am then wait around until 4 pm to be able to check into another hotel. I understand being booked but it was ridiculous her not allowing me to just leave and be on my way when she couldn’t give me a room for 2 nights. I don’t understand how this hurt her in anyway. She was an absolute nightmare and shouldn’t be in customer service period! She also smarted off to me saying didn’t I hear her tell the guy ahead of me they were booked up. I said no I didn’t but I seen the rude facial expressions you were giving him does that count? I’ll never stay at another Hampton inn. Very disappointed in the service but the room was very nice and clean
** UPDATE- once they reached out to me I called and they didn’t have a clue to my complaint. It must be a automated response to the posts here. The GM was friendly and professional but he let me know there was nothing he can do about the situation but to give me points if I become a member. I have no plans on becoming a member.

Worst Hotel Experience in 30+ years of travel. Bradd Jones and his staff do not value their customers and I will never stay at a Hilton property because of the way this manager and the Hilton Corporation managed my family's needs at this hotel.

Thank goodness for Bonvoy and IHG who truly know how to treat their customers.

Nice place that is fairly new. Comfy bed and very clean. Typical breakfast that leaves a bit to be desired but not unexpected. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area

Quite bad, honestly. Loud, poor service, breakfast buffet completely barren. Stained carpets in the hallways and rooms. Very unhappy with this hotel.

I am a Hilton Diamond member that regularly stays over 100 nights a year at Hilton properties for the last 15 years and this is some of the worst customer service I have experienced at any Hilton branded hotel. My travel agency booked the room at the government per diem rate, and after checking out the hotel billed me for much more than this amount per night. The front desk never asked to see any travel orders or ID (which I could have provided on the spot if they had), and it has now been three weeks since I began communicating with them about correcting my bill and it still has not been resolved. The hotel manager has not responded to calls or emails from either myself or my travel agency about resolving this issue. I would urge anyone traveling to WPAFB on government business to seek accommodations elsewhere. This is extremely unprofessional behavior on the part of their billing team and management.

Terrible service. Drove 4 hours only to wait two more to check in. Eventhough I arrived at 5: 00p. Dirty smelly rooms. No clean towels. Flies and Nats. I waited over 3 hours to check in because there was no staff to clean the rooms. Broken Elevators. Terrible hotel. Brad is a joke of a manager he has no integrity as he lied to corporate about my complaint when they reached out to him. He should. Be fired. He retaliated against me for complaining about the hotel and added a$250 smoking charge to my room and said we were banned and he's keeping the money. This hotel is really of motel quality. Don't book here.
