Handyman-Austintown INC reviews
18We love this place! We support small businesses always. Super helpful and very nice staff! Take a cart and look around, they have so much to see!
Walked in the door and within minutes I was asked by four employees what they could help me with, who needs Home Depot, this store is great!
I love this store justin helps me so much I'm new to being a home owner and he legit helps me in every way possible he is the nicest smartest employee I ever met give this man a raise I go there for everything because of him thanks Justin keep up the great work
I went to handyman‘s out of desperation. My house water system kept back washing water up into my tub when used for too long. After hours of struggling to try and fix the problem, I went to handyman’s and told the manager Justin my issue. Justin immediately identified where the problem was, as well as telling me what parts I need, and how to apply them.five out of five stars will come again.
Listen I don't need Lowes or Home Depot any more. This place has everything I needed and more. I got help from knowledgeable staff, friendly service and above all they treated me like they knew me for years. One trip and done. The big box stores got nothing on these people. Tell all your friends.
Great place to go and find those hard to find parts, they don't have those parts at the bigger stores because they want you to buy the entire faucet assembly for example and I went down to handyman and picked up a two-dollar part to fix my sink that was leaking right where the pipe goes in, otherwise it would have been about $50 for the whole assembly, I'm happy with them that's for sure.
I went to purchase nails for the garage door. As soon as my son and I entered into handyman's there was a very pleasant young man who showed us right where they were at. Very courteous employees.
Very helpful employees with a much needed v belt. Couple minutes and was back up and running. Thanks to the very helpful and knowledgeable employees.
I pass 2 Home Depots, a Lowe's, and 2 Ace hardware to do business at this store. They have what I need and amazingly enough some of the prices have come down in the last 2 years.
Today was my third trip into the store in search of a fuse I needed. Luckily I ran into Ken who was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure I was set before I left the store! Ken is a great employee! He was very patient with my situation and also was friendly to my daughter! Will ask for Ken if we go back!
If you can't find the hardware you are looking for anyplace else you will find it at Austintown Handyman. Plus knowledgeable and polite sales people to serve you.
Everyone in the store are super friendly and helpful everytime I’ve came in the store. Great prices on there products and the staff are very knowledgeable on everything I’ve asked about.
Love this store! It is the place to go when you need hard to find items and great service.
Went in there today. I had no clue what to look for, but I knew what I needed. Everyone there was so nice and so helpful. It’s so hard to find a place with great customer service anymore, but this place is fantastic! I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you!
Dropped off Blades to be sharpened at 12pm. Done by 5pm, the Same Day. Outstanding. Highly recommend them.
Staff will directed you immediately to any item that you are interested in.
They are very knowledgeable about their products.
Anything on the outside of the building will be placed into your truck.
Handyman is a great store. Everything has a place and everything is in its place. I.enjoy going employees are friendly and helpful
I waited a 16 minutes for help in fasteners. I went back to the register and asked if they needed help because I have hardware store experience. Not Home Depot experience, hardware store. This pic is the rusted broken fastener and MY fix not theirs.
The lady cashier said yes we are hiring, do you want an application? I said not yet, I usually talk to owners first and sonetimes an app is filled out after they hire me. Sometimes the pay is rediculous and not worth my time discussing or filling out an app.
Then I met Mr. Ponytail in fasteners who really seemed uninterested in helping me. The opposite of how I would treat customers. All I knew when dealing with him was GET ME OUT OF THIS STORE.
After wrestling with him for 10 minutes about what I need I bought a few things that I had to find and bag myself.
Good luck guys when a little old lady comes in looking for something without a clue.
People dont come to hardware stores for things, they come for advice. That's when you help, you close a sale big or small, then you made a friend for life.
This store is drowning from lack of help. People if you go here, you better know what you need and what isle to find it.
For the outrageous prices you charge, people expect service and help.
Too bad the owner or boss didnt come to greet me. Last time I met a hardware owner in Washington, D. C.it was 1999 and he hired me in a NEW YORK minute.
I like your turtle.
