Hartman Veterinary Hospital, Toledo OH

These guys are probably a good general vet, my mom went to them 20 years ago, I have been back twice in 10 years and both times a poor experience.
I don’t like to leave bad reviews but when it’s deserved, well what can I say.
These people are not willing to listen to any special or specific needs that I had, couldn’t get a word in edgewise.
The one female assistant there is so headstrong, she does not belong in customer service.
Good luck, if you go along with what they tell you, you will be ok, but, if you’re the slightest bit educated and ask questions you will get attitudes.

This was my first time of going here.the staff was so nice and friendly. They took my bird back and had his beak trimmed up and was out in no time. The wait room was very clean. Nice big sign out front with their name so it was easy to find. I will go back again!

My wife brings our other dogs here and they’ve taken good care of my pets. Im a truck driver so we m gone all the time and don’t actually get to meet the staff too often. 5 star bc I had a 13 yr old boxer with prostate cancer. Well i don’t remember what happened but his medication got destroyed and we called our vet, this place… and someone actually left their house, drove to the clinic, and met me with a refill so my dog wasn’t hurting. They were closed and it was like 8 pm. Vets like this one that will go out of their way to help their patient, your pet, well they have my undeniable loyalty for all my pets

Our family has always taken our pets/ animal family members to Hartmans. That's ever since they've been in business. They are great at taking care of our pets and have done a fantastic job in helping them stay happy and healthy. The staff are professional and courteous. Dr. Myers is a great vet. I have adopted a couple pets from them. All of our pets have lived long lives and have been greatly loved. I would totally recommend them.

Always a great experience for my fur babies. Great Staff and nice safe clean environment.

I left this rating a couple years ago but as someone who now owns their own business I know how important ratings and reviews are.

Considering this place involves living things, I want to explain why my rating is low and why I stopped bringing my pets here.

I don't think the vet there has good "bedside manners". He was never friendly. At the time I brought in my new kitten who I saved from a warehouse in the store I used to work at. I was repeatedly told I had no idea what I was doing (he was completely healthy) and how I needed to socialize my cat better. He was a scared 7-8 month old kitten. I already had a cat I took in from the streets and knew what I was doing because she was healthy, happy, and friendly. So to be told repeatedly I'm doing a bad job with a brand new, scared kitten was the last straw for me.

I'm not sure what my brother liked about this place. He took his dog there for his whole existence with no complaints but I just couldn't do it anymore.

I at least gave them a 2 star rating because they did take care of my brothers dog for 15 years and they did a fine enough job with all of my cats basic needs in the beginning.
