Hartville Kitchen reviews
24Love the food. Always a tough decision on what to get each time. Stop by the bakery before you go. Can't go wrong with their cakes or pies.
This review probably bucks the trend but my wife and I ate there a couple of weekends ago and we were less than impressed. After the long wait we were seated and eventually greeted by our server who seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. I order the smothered chop steak and the wife got the fish and shrimp. The chop steak and fish were good, not fantastic but good. Here's the issue, everything else tasted as though they cracked a can open, nuked it and threw it on a plate. We opted for the peach cobbler because surely peach cobbler would save the day. Alas, open a number 10 can, bake with some bisquick and slap some bad soft serve on it. I didn't finish it and believe me, that's saying something! At the end of the day that cost us $50 with a couple soft drinks. We felt as though any family restaurant could rival or beat it and some chains we go to smoke it.
The original Amish destination. Still going strong and no signs of stopping. Great food and shopping. I highly recommend. 8.4
Very busy as usual. Wife and I both had 4 pc chicken dinners and 3 sides. Quality outstanding. Service impeccable. Worth the drive from Mansfield.
Very good food, generous portions, friendly and courteous service. Reasonable prices. Nice variety of food on menu.
Had our gift exchange with 9 of our family/friends. The food was excellent and the servers were awesome! We laughed and giggled and had so much fun, other customers were stopping at our table asking if they join our group because it looked we were having so much fun! Browsing the shops afterwards was delightful. A definite stop if you're in the area.
Down home amish cooking comfort food! Love this place. The awesome meals always come served to perfection with fast servers, water and dessert staff. It runs like clockwork. The sides. Especially the sweet potatoes and pies, holy moly amazing. I really love the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Reasonable prices. Visit the bakery shop afterwards.
All i can say is if you have never been here you have to go. Customer service is amazing the food is even better. They have a hardware and common store in the parking lot. If there was a 6 star this place deserves it. I go back regularly when i go and visit my kids. 2 big thumbs up to Heartville Kitchen
This is a great place for the whole family. The menu is very diverse and the service is always great. The food is fresh and you get large, delicious portions. The environment is clean and the woodworking and chandeliers are beautiful. I highly recommend Hartville Kitchen to anyone.
Very nice meal we had the chicken and it was really tasty. Although the food was very good, I thought the portions were small for the price. Service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I would come back again.
I think they've changed suppliers. Service is extra kind, which is amazing and they treat kids wonderfully! Very welcoming staff, but the food was a let down! It used to be my go to for an amazing country meal.
One word to describe this place: homey. You can't go wrong with the fried chicken and the pies are simply fantastic.
Nothing to really brag about.
Half of sandwich and a drink almost 10 bucks. Aeriously overpriced for their selection.
Great restaurant serving home style cooking for 52 years. Although not the original location, it's still the best place to eat in town. There is also a conference center here, gift shop, bakery, children's shoppe, Hartville Collecibles, candy shop and banquet rooms with seating to accommodate from 15-500 people.
The restaurant is amazing, the food is amazing and the staff is great! The roast beef is the best I've ever had:)
Delicious food, nice people and we saw the Ernie Haase & Signature Sound Christmas program. It was truly terrific!
Delicious, home cooked food! We usually get fried chicken or the roast beef. My nephew says the mashed potatoes are like clouds they are so good. We go there all the time and are never disappointed, service and quality are stellar. Make sure you get a piece of pie!
This is a great place to find a unique gift. And enjoy a delicious meal. Service was impeccable and the wait was short.
Went on a Tuesday around 4ish. Got sat right away. Food came out quick, tasted great. Good service, friendly, clean.
It looked great from a distance because it was too crowded and I had to wait in a long line with my family members. It smelled great too, I hate large crowds because of a phobia I have! It didn't use to be that way long ago. What happened? Should we have to make a reservation?
