Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Akron/Seville

Halls and elevator have a strange oder. Room reeks of smoke. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke and am itching all over after only 10 minutes in the room. Looks like someone dumped a jar of glitter all over the sofa in the room. Got moved to a smaller room that smells like an Indian restaurant and told that he couldn’t change our rate even though we were moved to a smaller room and had a bunch of hassle. Checking out early and going to another hotel

The staff was very nice. However, the room was dirty including the bed sheets! Yuck.no AC either. They did move us to another room and that did help. This establishment needs to update their standards and housekeeping.

I’ve stayed in many hotel they all seem the same. Hawthorn suites however is very different. It is comfortable and spacious. I slept like a baby. The best part was the service at check in.

Older hotel that probably will be updated/remodeled soon. That being said, suite was very clean, the pool was nice and the beds surprising very very conformtable. Will stay here again for sure when in the area.

The bed was awful. Room #320, it had a huge hump in the middle and the sides sunk down. Breakfast was good

Great inexpensive hotel! Jan the second shift receptionist is amazing and Mary Alice the breakfast gal is nice as pie and does it all! Great place… I travel a lot and very rarely review but this place deserves the accolades!

The rooms are great the staff no can't even explain why I was over charged my rm was 73.29 but on my phone it showed they charged me 323.00 for one night hopefully they fix it on their end and refund me back the rest.

The hotel was decent for the price, but the room came with roommates. One of which was in the bed. Was not a great way to wake up.

My husband stayed their for 2 nights. When he checked out, they gave him some computer excuse as to why they couldn't run his card, he offered cash, they refused it. I've called 4 times and each time they said they still couldn't run any cards, Two months later I get a call saying they are running the card. What a horrible way to run a business, would not recommend this place at all.

Sheets were full of animal hair so I slept without them the first night. I checked out not knowing I'd be back a 2nd night.same room. How blessed is that? ! This time, I found the same sheets put right back on the bed. How crazy is that? !

Recently, I have spoken to the Morning/Day front desk worker. She was completely RUDE, actually yelled at me for asking for a deal? The prices of the room's jumped $40-$90 MORE than what they previously costed. Yes, inflation is real but the ROOMS have remained OUT DATED, dents/scratches/dirty/overused furniture.
So I personally don't believe their price INCREASE takes into consideration that this is at best a 2 STAR HOTEL!

This place is outstanding. The staff are amazing, from the front desk to housekeeping. Huge room and very comfy bed and pillows. Fresh coffee all day long and the hot breakfast was on point. Clean and very quiet. I took advantage of the fitness room, laundry room and pool. All are well maintained. When my 2 week stay turned into 3 the front desk was on the ball and had me accommodated in mere minutes.
This is the only hotel for me in this area. Affordable and conveniently located near the Interstate.
I normally only post reviews if I have had issues or service was poor. In this case these folks deserve the recognition they deserve. Thank you for a great stay, sincerely.

Room was very clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a long time. The staff was excellent and caring. If you are looking for a hotel definitely choose this one.

Stayed the night here with my family while traveling cross country for Thanksgiving. At first blush the rooms are clearly dated and showing the signs of their age. However if you look past the cosmetics you'll find that this hotel really nails it where it counts. The beds are soft and comfortable. There is plenty of hot water and water pressure. The room is quite large with all the appliances you would need to take care of meals for an extended stay. A sofa bed is an option if you need a third bed. The breakfast meal is served hot to you. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay and would recommend to anyone needing a stop in this area.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was warm and delicious. Love the amenities in the suites.

Crashed here for the night and the bed was comfy. The front desk was nice and there was breakfast in the am. No Complaints whatsoever.

The housekeepers were so kind they even loaned me a lint roller. I was here for a wedding and we had the best time!

Rooms could use some updating, but that's not really important to me. They were clean, comfortable, and there was no odors. Staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again!

It's a place for a good night rest, staff are awesome. Friendly people. I would recommend this place.
