Helen's Asian Kitchen reviews
17Love this place! Really good food! I usually get the Cashew chicken & an egg roll. All delicious. I always take to go, so can’t vouch for the restaurant per say, but what I have experienced has been always hot, delicious food & good Customer Service.
It's a little hole in the way but the food was so freaking good and affordable. I got two meals worth of food for like $20 10/10
This food was amazing. We normally travel 4600 miles to London to visit our favorite restuaturant and couldn't find anything like it closer to home. This restaurant far surpassed our expectations and was able to fill the void and distance of needing to travel so far to get this amazing taste of food.
A friend and I each ordered Tofu Pad Thai online and specified that we both have chicken allergies. When we got our food, everything looked right but as I was eating my food, I literally bit into a piece of CHICKEN, and as I picked through the rest of my food, there was MORE pieces of chicken in with my food. We immediately threw both of our food away. We both were sick and do not feel safe ever ordering from here ever again.
Sweet and sour chicken. Sauce was water and no flavor chicken was sloppily done and lacking flavor as well.
Unexpected found this gem. Prices for lunch amazing. Food was very delicious. Your a fool if you don't try this place. Dumplings wow!
The Pork Siu Mai is delicious! We tried about half the Dim Sum menu & all of it tasted great. Staff is friendly & attentive! Kind of tricky to find. Just circle the block because it's worth the trip around the block.
Foods are quiet authentic! Love it! Being serve by the owner himself! The place need renovation.or better to move to other place to attract more customers.seems that location is economically dead.there's an abandon hotel at the back.that makes it sketchy.
Found this gem on a cross country trip.
It was hidden away but right infrint of my hotel.
Place was super clean. Staff was friendly and made me feel like I was at a hometown bar/restaurant.
Super cold bars and good food.
I'm sad I live 500 miles away.
The location is so strange and unassuming but every time we’ve had great food and good service!
I really wanted to like this place. The staff was very nice, however the place seems a little run down. No seating available. I got soup dumplings (Xiao long bao) which these really aren't (the staff warned that they aren't filled with broth). I also got Helen's special pork dumplings. Everything seemed to lack flavor and was not at all what I'm used to seeing.
The food was amazing, price really nice too, stuff really friendly, highly recommend to check it out
If I could give a negative star I would. This was the worst Asian food I've ever had. We were afraid to eat the wings. Spend almost $40 and I should have just ate at home.
Neat place. Didn't come to sit down. The dumplings were good but nothing insane. Service was great though. Prompt pickup and the order I placed online was exactly what I ordered. There were a lot of Asian people there so it must be fairly authentic. Seems like it could be a good spot for dim sum.
Always good. We dine in with really good servers. Really like the spicy dumplings and everything else we have had. Been coming here for awhile…5 stars every experience we have had.
Dim sum was pretty good but anything spicy had no spice flavor. Chili oil had no spice as well. General tso was pretty bland. $2-3 for a can or bottle to drink is pretty expensive. Portions are decent though
EDIT 2/19/23
**Well, unfortunately I ended up w terrible food poisoning from here. I ordered my normal takeout order that I have had 4-5 times. Ordered Fri night. Terrible food poisoning illness started Sat late morning. Awful. So sick. Thankfully, I'm bouncing back today. Definitely won't be able to eat here again. Super sucks. **
Outstanding food. My son and I tried so many items. Spicy dumplings, steamed soup dumplings, fried sesame balls, pork/shrimp siu mai, steamed pork buns, sticky rice in lotus leaf, spring rolls, orange chicken and pad thai. Everything was fantastic. The spicy dumplings, fried sesame balls and spring rolls were out of this world. Wonderful owners and service and the place was absolutely spotless clean. This will definitely be in our regular rotation. Highly recommend.
