Heritage Farms reviews
16Very disappointed with Heritage Farms this season, purchased a precut Christmas tree this year because the fields were closed we were informed. We were told it was a fresh cut tree. Ten days later our fresh cut tree is missing half of its needles, for $150 I expect it to last a bit longer at least. Never had an experience like this before with a tree. Sorry, but after 19 years of frequenting here, we will go elsewhere. Side note, i had to put 1 star so I could post a review, otherwise it’s no stars. Also, I brought the tree we picked out over to the pay booth myself, and still tipped the young man that asked us if we needed anything else, but there was a lot of horsing around in the netting and pay area, just didn’t fit in for this environment.
Clear directions for where to park. Someone greeted us as we walked up to the barn. Stephanie walked us through the trees in the barn and explained what each were and the benefits or drawbacks of them. She gave the tree we chose a fresh cut and shook it out. While my daughter paid she carried the tree to our vehicle and helped load it.
The nicest people and the best trees! They make the holidays even more special with their kindness
Stopped here on a whim for pumpkins because a competitor farm down the road didn't take credit cards. Win for Heritage Farm for taking CC and win for us. The prices were better and all the associates working were super friendly. We will definitely be back.
Everyone was so nice and helpful. Took my mom there for her birthday and she had a blast! We will definitely be back!
This place is so wonderful; the host/owner is very nice and helpful. They have scads of wagons to lug all the stuffs going to camping site. She also helped out hauling our heaviest stuff by their gator and added another table without additional cost. Primitive campsites like H and J are great for big groups who wanted exclusivity, privacy and peaceful place. There are enough space to pitch tents and still have rooms for group activities. The place is shaded by big trees in the afternoon and perfect spot to catch sunrise in front of Christmas trees arrays. Overall, this is terrific and will absolutely come back for another camping.
Beautiful area. Great service by camp host and staff. Smart amenities with a tarp to cover wood! I look forward to staying again.
Can not drive up to campsites, have to park in a parking lot pretty far away and carry all of your stuff to your campsite. Total BS
So grateful for this place. I've been coming here to cut my own Christmas tree every year I've gotten a tree since I moved to the area in 2016 and I have always had a wonderful experience. The trees are beautiful and healthy. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It has a great vibe to it. It can get a bit busy so get there early. I'll keep coming back every year!
We went for Christmas trees and they had many precut trees but not many for us to cut ourselves. However, they did have a beautiful fireplace for photos and to warm up, as well as warm drinks and goodies.
Just got our tree here yesterday and she is beautiful! We chose a precut concolor fir and the whole process was smooth. Very efficient operation with friendly, helpful staff. I think we found our new tree place!
Love the experience of walking the fields to pick and cut your own tree, however, not a big selection on the farm this yr, so ended up having to pick an already cut tree. The staff was very helpful
Lady at the entrance was very rude. She told us to carry our dog or leave him in the car. We had him on a leash but that was unacceptable. We decided to leave 2 minutes after arriving. We said we'd never be back. The lady said fine whatever. Wish I could do zero stars.
We have been getting our Christmas trees here for years but this review is regarding their pumpkin pandemonium. I was very disappointed! First the five dollar charge for each activity per person gets to be ridiculous. There aren’t that many activities for the kids to do in the children’s section.in my opinion that area should be free just to keep the kids busy. But five dollars per hayride, five dollars per scavenger hunt, five dollars per playing in the children’s section for a family of four ends up being $60 for a couple hours. We go to Luther’s Farm Market several times throughout the fall season and it’s five dollars per person for everything. So for $20 we can have just as much if not more fun; whereas Heritage Farms cost $60. The pumpkins were much more expensive at Heritage also. Finally, the gentleman in the ticket booth was rude and a bit condescending. Gave us a reason to leave before even paying but we already promised the children. I will say the youth who work there were so sweet making up for his rudeness.
My family really loves this place we enjoyed our time there it was a weekday but the scavenger hunt Was fun there were a variety of pumpkins and gourd to choose from and it wasn’t expensive at all there wasn’t a lot of people which was a plus I typically avoid huge crowds especially since the pandemic and this was perfect they have a cute little corn maze this was really a nice small town farm and there were a lot of photo opportunities
