This place is a joke. I have rented from Hertz all over the country. This particular place didn't have enough cars cleaned for the 8 people waiting in line. When I asked for a different car because the one they designated for me was dirty and smelled, the local manger was nothing but condescending telling me the only thing I could rent was an Armada. I will never rent from Hertz in Cincinnati again due to how ignorant the manger was.

No one answers the phone. What has you sooo busy? It's not dealing with customers because I've been one twice now and you act like customers are putting you out. I also got charged but can't get a receipt for the charges. Sketchy at best.

Hertz has always been a great choice for our car rental needs. I can't say enough good things about all the great people who work at the Dixie Hwy location!

Where should I begin? My brother flew in from FL.and had a car reserved. The reservation was for 2 pm, we showed up at 2: 30 pm. There was one gentleman working the desk with four customers in front of us. While he was helping the #2 customer, a female representative from the back appears takes #3, gentleman takes #4 and finally is our turn at 3: 15 pm. The female representative informs my brother that since HE IS OVER AN HOUR LATE his car is gone, it's been reassigned to another customer. Excuse me? We have been here since 2: 30 pm, we were 30 minutes late, did you think of asking the customers in line if they had reservations already before you started reassigning cars? (ANSWER: NO) He asked about five other cars in the lot, her response was, "All of them have issues. They either need oil changes or body work", none of them were available. She offered no solution, no, 'let me call another store and see how we can fix this problem. ' No, 'I'm so sorry sir, can you come back tomorrow after we have time do an oil change and we can either give you 10% off or a free upgrade for your inconvenience. ' So to sum up our experience with Hertz of Fairfield - No Customer Service Skills. 0%. He made a reservation for two days later and had almost the same experience. The car they have him had brake issues immediately upon leaving the lot. When he returned there were NO CARS LEFT until a call to HQ was made and all of a sudden, an hour later they found a FREE UPGRADE? It just had it's oil changed, so it was ready for a road trip. Imagine that. So this is why it gets 2 stars, in the end, they pulled through and he is enjoying the upgrade! However, it should have never taken a call to HQ to get it done.

Was rear-ended in a wreck and went through Hertz for my rental. Insurance only would approve a car and I drove a truck. The very great people at Hertz got my into a brand new Ram truck. I would recommend anyone to go to Hertz. I would definitely rent off them again! Thanks Hertz

The first car they gave smelled so bad! I was happy with the second one! I don't think I would rent another car from them. I just got a email from Mr Ruffin. I guess he don't like my feedback.

Terrible service, rude employee that was too busy on the phone with a buddy to take care of the customers in store. They were unable to meet the price at time of pick up that I received when making the reservation. Ended up walking out without a vehicle. Even called to the headquarters with no follow up from hertz.

Service was fine but the vehicle they gave us smelled of weed when my wife got in it, they need to do better cleaning of their vehicles.

I work for Hertz for three and a half years as a driver and a detailer. Hertz difference from location to location however the location in Fairfield is the best the people are friendly courteous and very accommodating. The manager in that store is Andrew and he will work with you very good guy.

When I needed a vehicle, Andrew stepped up with the kind of service one hopes to get. Accommodating through all manner of changes, helpful with special requests, and quick and easy to check in and out, this Hertz location gets my hearty, tough-to-earn recommendation.

Got into a car accident back in September and the nearest car rental place was this location. When I got there to pick up my rental car, the women that was helping me was rather mean and had a major attitude. I tried helping her find my profile by giving her my claim number. But she kept on saying that she didn't understand me and that nothing came up even when I wrote it down for her. Which didn't make any sense because I got the email confirmation from state farm for my car rental. Since I know of their policies, I told her my limit is $16 per day. It can't go over that and I didn't want to be charge for the fuel charge, I'll just bring it back full. She got me a car and everything was settled. Or so I thought.

It's now November and they're still trying to charge me for the rental! A rental that my insurance is supposed to pay for. They've been charging me every month now since September. Finally got my insurance on it, and turns out they never even submit the rental through the claim and put me in a car over my coverage limit.

Very displeased and I do not recommend.

Do not go here! Place is run down like another user stated. Car was dirty exterior yet clean interior. They rush to get you out so this means the walk around they complete on the car is terrible. Vehicle had pre-existing damage on all panels including a cracked/bullseye on windshield. I did not but their insurance so they charged me 150 for pre-existing damage. If you are stuck with this place, make sure to dio the vehicle inspection yourself and mark everything. I will contact corporate and continue to use social media to deter people from here.

Update** the corporate office does care about the customer experience so they reimbursed the charges this location took.

Andrew the manager and His staff always take great care of me. I rent a car a week, and never had any issue, and based on how well they treat me, I'm sure they would make it right.

Crazy and very sad looking place to pick up a rental car. Can they clean this place up and make it look better. Car was ok but there service sucked.

We needed a van as we're a family of 5 and was given a small SUV customer service was less than helpful in trying to find us a larger vehicle.

They need to accept prepaid debit cards. For whatever reason not everyone has a major checking account, for some people it's a better way to manage there finances an it's still a checking account hence the reason why they get direct deposit from there jobs. Bottom line they should accept prepaid debit cards as form of payment.
