Received a vehicle with expired License Plates from this location. Waited hours in Memphis for a model Y to be avaliable (no other options) to accommodate my luggage, pet, and family. Company couldn’t give me an extra 10
Minutes to return the rental. No issue, delayed picking up my car and went straight to the location, had to take an Uber home. I wouldn’t recommend this location. Save the headache and rent from CLE.

Sorry but this service was awful. I reserved a standard sedan, but they didnt have that available and upgraded me for free (awesome) to an all electric vehicle. They promised I could get to my destination 400+mi away on a single charge (the car could only do ~200mi/charge). They also promised they would upgrade me to a prepay fuel and waive the fee. 6hrs into what was supposed to be a 6hr trip, I landed at my second charging station halfway to my destination that said it would take 10hrs 20min to charge just to get me home. I had to stay overnight in a random town to get home. I called customer service 7 times total that day for help, 5 of those times the automated service hung up on me before it reached anyone. I had to go through emergency roadside assistance to get a person and the only thing they were willing to do was extend my return date. I finally get home the next day. I return the car and am charged a late return fee, a prepay fuel fee, and an extra day of insurance for the rental. I go to the desk to get a refund for this abysmal trip. They tell me I have to email the location I rented from (Bedford Heights). Days later they reply telling me I need to call a specific number. I just got off the phone with them and the best they offered was taking off the extra charges. And I had to wrestle with them just to do that! Originally their offer was just the late return fee, despite me telling them the whole situation- and that the return location said I deserve a full refund! This was an awful experience, especially as a Gold Rewards member. They usually treat me so well, but when this disaster struck I've been given the run-around for over a week now for things that were completely out of my control. They have refused to work with me and now I'm genuinely considering never renting from them again.

I recently had a rental car experience with Hertz unfortunately, it was marred by a discourteous encounter with a staff member named Quiana Brown. The customer service provided by Ms. Brown fell far below expectations, leaving me dissatisfied with my overall rental experience.

Upon arrival, I was met with a lack of professionalism and courtesy from Ms. Brown. Her demeanor was dismissive, and it seemed as though she was disinterested in assisting customers. I encountered issues with the rental process, and instead of providing helpful guidance, Ms. Brown's responses were curt and unhelpful.

It is disheartening to encounter such a level of rudeness from a representative of a well-known company like Hertz. Customer service is a crucial aspect of any business, and my experience with Ms. Brown has left a lasting negative impression.

I hope that Hertz takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for improved training and customer service standards at the [branch. As a loyal customer, I believe that constructive feedback is essential for the betterment of the company and the overall satisfaction of its clientele.never clean the car

They stole 371.00 dollars from me for fraudulent charges. They waited 6 months to charge my card until right before Christmas. When I got the local office on the phone a team member so identified as Ty lied on the phone and pretended to be the manager. I will be reporting them to corporate and the Consumer Protection Bureau.

My wife rented a car there and the people that worked there so jealous and their black women too they put all kinda of charges on her lied to corporate office Makin hertz look bad they need to investigate we didn't even use 705 miles they just go into my wife account took her whole hard earn paycheck with out calling just email they don't want u to know they about to hit ur account and made us half of month late on our rent after we turned car in we was sure to be squared away months ago and they still hit us almost 2 months later they drained our account we have a 3 year old grand son we to keep a roof over his head

The employees at this location has poor customer service. Their unfriendly and unwelcoming demeanor is very distasteful. Also, the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at the time of pick up and is below average.

Jesus and the guy that worked with him today were very helpful even tho the store was swamped with customers they helped me and made sure I got a car before they closed. They definitely need a raise for there customer service skills

If you are looking for dirty, smelly, beat up cars and rude employees, you are at the right place. I had an issue with this location a while ago but wanted to give them a second chance. I made a rental reservation for 1 month and was there at 8: 30 am as scheduled. The check in and payment process were completed in 5 min. They are very fast at getting your money. Then I had to wait 25 minutes for them to bring the car. Then I found out, they were just washing the car in the back. Anyway, they brought the car but it wasn't clean at all. The guy told me that he would change the vehicle if I stopped by later during the day. I got in the car to go to work and realized that the car was smelling like dog pee. I called and told them about the issue. They said I could come around noon. Then I drove 15 min to this location at my lunch break so they could replace it. They were trying to find me a car, and the guy was talking to the young rude lady at the desk. She said "don't give the other car because it smells". I heard that and told them if that was the issue, I didn't want anything from them. The guy still wanted to show me the car. We went to check the new car. This time you could easily smell the weed inside. I wanted to cancel everything and return the vehicle. She said she could get the car back but can't refund my money. I said "instead of apologizing, you are trying to charge me for a service that you never provided". I will never ever go to this location. Their corporate office doesn't care at all. If you want to have issues with bad dirty vehicles and customer service, this is your place!

Dropped off Tesla on time at shop. Car smelt bad of smoke. As far as the local reps, they were great and car worked for the week we had it just smelled of smoke.

Quiana and Dawn were of great help to me with helping me get into a Tesla to sample it out. We had some issues with some stuff but these two ladies worked hard to get everything going for me! I’ll be back to continue doing business! Gonna try the polestar out next! So I’ll be back soon! Thanks again Dawn and Quiana!

I will never rent from Hertz again. They overcharged me for the rental. I called to complain and they gave me a 1-800 number. To address my concerns. Well, that didn’t help because the customer service reps were unhelpful and had heavy accents which sounded like they were from India and were extremely rude and unprofessional. I was even hung up on because I changed my mind about extending the car rental because of the rudeness of the employee. I will not give hertz my business again. I never had any rental issues with Enterprise or any other brands. Don’t rent here unless you want the headache and possibly be overcharged.

Had a rental from them for a month, I upgraded my vehicle which was an addition 5 dollars per day from what my insurance was paying, the employed told me that I would have to pay the 5 dollars extra per day plus the taxes on the 5 dollars per day, which was fine. When I dropped my vehicle off they charged me 344$ instead of paying taxes on 150$ (30day x 5$) I was informed that I had to pay taxes on the entire amount even though my $1900 even though my insurance paid them 1800. When I called and told them the employee that gave me my paper work when I got the vehicle told me I only had to pay taxes on the 5$ per day, they told me sorry he misinformed me and that it was nothing they could do about it. They said if I wouldn't have upgraded I would have paid nothing out of pocket. I was told one thing just to be bait and stitched when it was time to return my vehicle. The only reason for two stars is because they were incredibly friendly while they were screwing me over. I have had plenty of rentals before and never had to deal with something like this.

Returning a one way rental. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and helpful. I asked about a ride and the woman who I think was the manager was very quick to say the drivers were unavailable. Ok that’s fine. I got an Uber. Then I asked about using the bathroom. The man seemed like he was going to show me to the bathroom and the manager again very short said “they no longer have public bathrooms” there is no excuse for not allowing a person to use the restroom. That’s just common courtesy. I’m a customer sitting in their lobby not someone who just walked in off the street.

Very unprofessional, and the manager was the worst one to deal with. I was a car with bad bearing. Completely unsafe to drive and was still charged for the car; when I returned the car. I was promised a money return by corporate and never got anything. Unreal experience.
