Hertz Car Rental - Westlake - Westlake Doubletree HLE

My husband and I will not rent cars from anywhere else. The employees, especially Rhonda, are so helpful and go above and beyond to help in any situation. The best rental car company…period!

Hertz is inside the hotel. The workers were extremely kind and helped get my rental quickly. Would definitely recommend this car rental place. Plus their rental prices are great.

Antoinette, the manager associate is perfect. She has a great sense of humor, she didn't rush me through the rental process and she had the right answers. Seronda, the Branch manager is extremely proficient and professional. She doesn't waste time. Hertz is very lucky to have these two friendly workers with a great working chemistry. If you need a car the Hertz located at the Double Tree hotel in Westlake is the place to get it. Great personal service.

Seronda did a great job handling my requests. I kept changing cars and she was very patient and understanding. I highly recommend this place.

The rental car was extremely dirty and disgusting my phone fell on the floor and slid under the seat and landed up next to a Apple core that previous. Person rented the car because I took a picture of even her paperwork that she left in the car from Renting it And nonetheless the car was 3000 miles over the oil change and the brakes were completely grinded out. And since I found their paperwork and the Apple core in the car can you guys honestly say they clean their cars after every rental not?

Not sure what others have experienced, but our experience was amazing. Seronda and Amir treated my son and I like we were VIPs. Would give them 10 stars if I could. And the price was better than I have paid at other car rental agencies

I can't believe this happened to me twice at this location or maybe better I can't believe I let it happen to me a second time. First time about a month ago showed up to pick up a car I reserved-there were three of us there waiting for a car we all had booked ahead of time. They only had one car - the guy working called his manager and looked at our three rental agreements and gave the minivan to the guy who had paid the most. The other lady and myself were SOL.
I rented a few more times since then from this same location, did not have any problems so thought all was good.
Wrong.
I had a car rented for a week that I was supposed to pick up last Friday. I got a call five minutes before my scheduled pick up that they didn't have a car for me - I guess at least this time I didn't show up yet since I was on my way. I feel like we are either on Candid Camera and they are waiting to see how much we can take or they are remaking that Seinfeld car rental episode - "anybody can take a reservation. " It's really incredible. BTW, I drove over to Enterprise also in Westlake and they had about 15 cars available and we're more than happy to take my money.

Very polite staff and nice vehicle at a great price. Only downfall was the vehicle was not washed so I had to pay to wash it myself

This would be a zero if an option. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my life. They NEVER answer the phone. Then most of the time voicemails full which I’m assuming they don’t listen to since they never call back. I showed up multiple times DURING business hours and no one’s there and no one answers the phone. They waisted gas and money out of my pocket. They cost me extra days of paying for a rental. They are charging me for it not being on a full tank when I filled it on my way there. But apparently the whole location decided not to show that day. I tried going to a different Hertz which was corporate and informed me they get lots of complaints about this westlake location and they also wouldn’t take the car because they aren’t affiliated with Westlake. The way I see it when I’m left no option to drop this vehicle off but they still take my money everyday, charge me for the gas they wasted deciding not to show up for work, won’t return my calls, they were taking advantage of me and basically robbing me. 3 weeks of calling and leaving voicemails to get someone on the phone. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! This location should no longer be allowed to represent the Hertz name in my opinion. Just like their jobs though I’m sure they won’t take this review serious.

What a great experience I had after a bad couple days. I totaled my vehicle Saturday night and have had a rough few days. I came to Hertz rentals on Crocker Park rd.and was treated phenomenally. I would highly recommend these folks. I had the nicest young man wait on me. He was reason enough to come back if ever needed again. He was a classy and caring young man. I did not feel at all like just another customer. He made a bad time so much better. I Couldn't ask for a better experience. So appreciated.

Awful service. Booked a van for a family trip two weeks prior online. Called one week prior to confirm everything with the local branch who assured me everything would be set to go. Showed up to pick up the van and they had no car available for me. Tried to offer me a small car instead. Then insisted I drive to mentor to go pick up a car instead (over an hour drive). Finally they agreed to drive to mentor to pick up the car and bring it to the Westlake location. Delayed my trip by 3 hours. Came back with a small suv instead of a van. Front tires were worn out. Gas was half empty (which they didn’t refund). Had to have my family split into two cars because if this. After all that, tried to charge me a cleaning fee which after talking to customer service was refunded because there was no issue with the car upon return. Will never rent from this poorly run and managed location again.
