Highlander Laundry, Newark OH

Started going here abour 3 years ago when i moved to the area. It was a decent place to do laundry. A little pricey, but close to home. Anymore, the change machine is empty. All the big loaders are out of order, or you cant use hot water in them. Not worth the price. Now i go to a different laundromat. Its a little further from home, but has more machines, that actually work. And they always have change in their machine. Highlander needs to do better, or just close.

This is the worst laundromat in the area.coin machines don't work.dryer not working.panels falling off of a dryers. This used to be a really clean place before it sold to some outfit out of cleveland. No ac. This place is a real mess! Would never recommend it to anybody!

The wash dry and fold service is a absolute time saver. I drop my laundry off while I go grocery shopping and get it all done at once. It's so worth it.

Your favorite laundromat to go to, even though there are others that are closer to where we live.

Had dry cleaning done, and the girl behind the counter was so nice and very helpful. She took the time to explain the process to me. It's nice not to feel rushed or like a burden for asking questions.

Normally fantastic laundrymat but not today attendants seems to be high or drunk behaving etractically

Update: since they have changed hours of operation, they have been opening on time.

Usually quiet. Many sizes of washers available. Fair priced. Gas dryers are very efficient. Easy access. Lately many dryers are out of order.

This used to be my go to laundromat in the area. Since new ownership took over it is not attended, dirty, machines broken, bathroom light is out, no seating for patrons, and the dry cleaners is rarely opened. Seems like it is deliberately being run down to make way for the new laundromat that's in the north end of town. Such a shame!

The fact that there was no laundry attendant available and when I went next door to the dry cleaners to speak to someone they weren't available to speak to me. Another patron of the place had to clean up the dry land because it was about an inch thick in the machine.

Here on may 4th, current staff is extremely rude to multiple customers because everyone is in need of change and they haven't filled the machines, and actively ignoring everyone walking in to ask for change. They didn't post any signs to explain anything about the change machines or when they will be able to help customers.

This place went downhill fast. Two coin machines and both are empty that's ridiculous. The lady working there was incredibly rude.

Both coin machines not working and the only person working seemed angry to be asked for help. Very rude unpleasant lady.

The washers and dryers are more expensive than a nearby laundromat. The washers I looked at provide only a single wash cycle. There was not a staff member present. The two largest washers (60 lb capacity) were both out of order. There are televisions tuned to Spectrum News. There is also a rack of magazines for the customers.

Every time I try to stop in they are closed. 3 attempts over the last 2 weeks. Ridiculous!

Staff is very friendly! Place is clean with options. But I had to leave and go get cash because there is no ATM on site. I swear this is the only laundry mat with no atm.

One of the most expensive laundromats in the area it can be almost 5 dollars for a small/medium load of laundry that’s not including the cost of drying your clothes. Management is nonexistent. If you’re lucky enough to have an attendant there, my experiences with them have been horrible, no patience or people skills, I’ve noticed employees who are working there are not happy to be there, and the facility is not cleaned, updated, or well taken care of at all. That includes the bathroom facilities & the outside lot. Highly recommend checking out a different place worth your time.
