7We have caught lots of fish here many times over the years. Some big crappies, nice catfish, and really nice bass (when you can catch 'em).
Got my fishing license today and caught my first catfish of the year.

It's very peaceful and beautiful in the summer. Nice place for a family outing, picnic or cookout. They have a pretty nice fireworks display on the 4th of July too.
Great public land they do a great job on up keep there the property is beautiful and loaded w animals if you know where to look?
Other then the trash everywhere and no garbage cans there are good bass in the lake and good boat ramps for launching any kind of boats
Beautiful Lake, the only thing I wish is that a launching area designed just for Kayakers would be added. Usually when you put your kayak in somewhere, when you come back to that spot to get out people are fishing. So you have to interrup them or go elsewhere to get out.
Also, trash cans need to be put out all over the fishing locations. I know not everyone will be respectful and use them, but I would hope that if there were more trash cans handy that more people would use them instead of littering EVERYWHERE.
