Hilliard Advanced Dentistry: Neeru Sharma, DDS

We had a dental situation that we thought was hopeless. We were in need of a temporary situation for a very old bridge which finally failed. We came to the office with no hope and by the time we were done the Dr had come up with a viable temporary solution. When it was all said and done, the temporary bridge she put in was an absolute work of art. The tooth color and shape looks exactly like his original teeth. Granted this is just the beginning, but am looking forward to seeing the finished product. I know it will be as perfect as what was/is temporarily in his mouth now.

This was the best experience ever at a dentist office from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. Everyone was both friendly and helpful. This is the kind of experience everyone should feel at any type of Drs visit. They deserve a 5+

The assistant I had was so nice. Loved her. Getting upper and bottom dentures so i will definitely update when finished. UPDATE: Dr Sharma has no filter. I wanted implants but couldn’t afford it. She was trying oh my gosh everything to get me to commit. What was said that turned me away was “oh Sharon, you don’t have anyone that has died and left you money? ” Hey I’d never lie about this. I was mortified especially considering she knew my daughter was losing her 3 year battle with stage 4 colon cancer! Sharma has no filter! She needs one! I’ll never go back nor will I suggest anyone go to her!

Hilliard Advanced Dentistry is the best dentist office I have ever experienced. The whole staff is very talented/wonderful and Dr Sharma is a true perfectionist. It makes trips to the dentist much easier for me.

I had extensive dental work done in 2023. I chose Dr. Sharma to do this work and I am very happy with that choice. I received excellent care from Dr. Sharma and her caring staff. They were open and transparent with me about decisions to be made with my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had a problem with excessive wear on my teeth from grinding for many years. I had put off dealing with this problem until it reached a point where my teeth were nearly worn down to the nerve, and in danger of breaking. Because of the wear, my bite had become very irregular, and it was impossible to do incremental repairs to my mouth. I had to have all of my teeth replaced with crowns over a short period of time. I received 26 crowns in a series of procedures that started in May and ended in September.

The first treatment was a single tooth that needed to be extracted before all the rest could be done. Dr. Jones at Hilliard advanced dentistry performed that extraction. Next I needed 6 crown extensions. This is a process to extend the base of the tooth by removing part of the gum, so that the crowns have more area to connect to. For this part, Dr. Sharma gave me a couple of referrals. I chose to use Dr. Metz in Westerville. His care was also excellent. The crown extension phase is the hardest part of all this, with soreness lasting about 10 days.

Once the extensions had healed for about 6 weeks, the 26 crowns were installed in 4 steps. First my back teeth, top and bottom, were replaced with temporary crowns. At that time, impressions were taken for the permanent crowns. The permanent crowns on the back were installed about 3 weeks after the temporaries. Two weeks later, temporary crowns for the front teeth, top and bottom. Then 3 weeks after that, permanent crowns for the front.

My bite is a few millimeters wider than it had been before these procedures started. I worried that this change in my bite would cause headaches or problems sleeping. My jaw was sore for a few days when the temps were put on the back, but once I had adjusted to that I had no problems at all. Now that it is all complete, the appearance of my smile is much better than before. I can eat normally and my bite is healthy again. I expect these crowns to last for a long time, and the frequent dental problems that I have had over the last 20 years are a thing of the past.

I have super-high anxiety about visiting the dentist. Dr Sharma and her staff address my fears and make me feel completely comfortable. They’re not just dentists - they’re smile restoring family!

I have sensitive gums and when i went for my cleaning today they used numbing gel on my gums. Made for such a pleasant experience. Dr Sharma and staff are awesome!

For 45 years, I have never had an issue with my teeth. After going to Dr. Sharma for a filling, I can no longer chew on the right side of my mouth. For 3 months after the first procedure I could not bite down and chew on those teeth. I made an appointment, described my issue what I was feeling (felt like there was not enough filling on top of where they drilled down in my tooth), they proceeded to drill down on my teeth again as it appears my tooth was not properly shaped after the filling. After that, I still had pain chewing and then the top side of my back tooth then chipped off after flossing and pain continued. Dr. Sharma was nice enough to redo the filing and fix the chipped tooth, I asked that she not leave me alone with the dental asst who was in the last procedure that I felt either buffered or drilled down too much on the filling and didn’t leave enough filling or didn’t reshape my tooth correctly. I wanted to ensure she oversaw that part of the procedure. Unfortunately, she did leave me again with the assistant. After the procedure, I continued to not be able to chew on those teeth without pain. So I went to another dentist to help fix the issue.

Please note- I had no sensitivity or pain in either tooth before the procedure. The staff at Advanced Dentistry were responsive and kind, Dr. Sharma seemed nice, but was a bit condescending and didn’t take my concern seriously as she let the same dental assistant do the second procedure that resulted in the same result and she wasn’t there to check the results. My teeth are permanently ruined and it affects me everyday. Never in my life have I had an issue after a filling. I feared finding a new dentist after my current dental office stopped taking my insurance. This was my biggest fear.

Dr. Sharma is so sweet and always excited to see you. Does an amazing job. Even when you need an occasional filling or crown, very gentle with her “sleepy juice” for your tooth!

Dr. Sharma and staff are amazing. They are the most caring and compassionate dental team I’ve encountered. The clinical staff takes great pride in thoroughly educating their patients and tailoring the patient experience to the individual’s needs. Dr. Sharma is a very detailed dentist and takes great pride in her work. Her attention to detail is unsurpassed and felt in every dental visit. She truly invests in her patients and their lives. The friendly administrative team delivers top notch customer service from the first phone call to the appointment. Overall a wonderful experience, great work!
