Hilton Columbus/Polaris

No dining. Available for breakfast. It's not even a microwave in my room in case I wanted to get a hot sausage at the speedy mart to warm up. And that was not right that I was not told before I checked in that no breakfast was available on Tuesday mornings only on the weekends. I bet I had to pay the same price as the folks on the weekends!

Renovations are nice, in particular the suites on the top floor. Only complaint is the AC and/or HVAC unit in the bedroom is extremely loud while on at night and it makes it hard to sleep. Made crackling and rumbling sounds all throughout the night when it kicked on.

Staff and management did a TERRIBLE job resolving an online booking error that erroneously created a duplicate reservation

How is this a 4 star? I would barely give this hotel 2 stars. I would recommend Extended Stay before this hotel. Electricity issues, room key issues, vending machine issues first and last time here.

Clean and nice.
Bed was to firm to me and the pillows were flat.
For the price I would have liked to see breakfast included

Very very very very very clean room. Bed and many pillows comfortable beyond belief, although I am no Goldilocks. Pay 1.50 for a coffee at a 4 star hotel? Oh no way. Seriously, richest country in the world and at the famous HIlton and I can't get a cup of coffee? Also man who checked me in was rude and put me right by elevator. There was about 10 cars in the parking lot and twice as many floors and you're putting in my the nosiest room? Literally the emptiest hotel at which I ever stayed. No coffee and dorky disrespectful dude. Seems like it always boils down to these two factors.

Clean. Turning left out of the entrance is a bit terrifying during the daytime. When the mall is closed no issues at all.

Decided to stay here overnight last night for my son's birthday. This was his first time in a hotel. The room was clean & staff were professional & pleasant. My son enjoyed swimming in the pool, too.

What an amazing Mother's Day Brunch Buffet at the Polaris Hilton. It was huge. Many stations and food choices. The staff was superb. Carrie and Tom helped us find the name of a cheese that we loved. Thanks!

Rude, unhelpful check in lady at the counter.

Edit: Who else is sick of the establishment replying to the review like they care? You muffed it on the first go, and try to save face by replying? No one is falling for your tactics. Corral your rude employees and don't be rude to your customers.

Great hotel. Spacious lobby. Have free guest parking. Attended a wedding here, and the ballroom was decently sized to host a reception for 100-120 people.
One thing that wasn't that great was the coffee. Tasted like airline coffee!

Fantastic service, great rooms and a convenient location. Only downside is that no free breakfast is served here.

Beautiful set up, courtesy staff, warm and welcoming. They answered my questions when I had them and rooms were clean and well put together.

Place was so clean and welcoming. Staff were nice. Very convenient location near Polaris mall, for who ever coming for shopping. They have beautiful function/conference hall, welcoming reception area. Pleasant experience.

Clean rooms. Nice amenity. I'm allergic to feathers and they were accommodating and paid attention to the related details. Shuttle was a great perk and saved lots of money for me!

Rooms clean. Hotel perfect. Breakfast delicious. I gave 1 because when i checked in the toilet seat tank was not filling, this was after midnight. Management gave me hard time to fix it. Stayed without bathroom till the morning

Nice hotel close to shopping and some great restaurants. The pool area was clean and parking was plentiful and free. They were doing a little construction when we were there, but it did not look like the project would last too long.

Quiet, courteous staff, good value. The only odd thing was that I paid for an upgrade to a suite with a parlor. The parlor was great, but it also came with an "upgraded" bathroom. I assumed that meant a jetted tub or similar, but it was more square footage. Period. Just a huge room, big enough to be another bedroom, but with nothing in it but a standard shower, toilet and sink.
