4Beautiful area with abundant hiking trails. A must-see for the outdoor adventurer
Beautiful rock formations that you can climb although I stayed on the trails and walked around the large boulders along the trail. Very peaceful place and across the road from Chapel Cave. The parking lot for Chapel Cave is used for Rock Climbing too.
The area here is quite a nice workout for the climbing and terrain here. Hiking to Table Rock is worth the effort to see a giant rock balanced on a rock pedestal about 75 feet from the forest floor. A hike in the opposite direction leads to a waterfall, although it's seasonal and most likely to see the waterfall in the Spring and Fall as it's likely dry in the other months.
We love rappelling in this area. There are so many beautiful sites to rig and rappel that it’s hard to choose.
