Hogback Ridge Park reviews
15Love this park! It has a great boardwalk right off the parking lot that offers an easy and accessible afternoon stroll. The boardwalk leads to a large stair case that is an amazing workout in and of it self; and that trail continues down to the creek. My toddler and I spent about 3 hours exploring the above mentioned areas, and there was a lot more to explore we didn’t get to. Can’t wait to go back!
Love this hike. Quite, shaded pet friendly and a Pavillion. The steps lead to the river which can be a little tiring.
Great place for a nature walk. You can go down a stone covered dirt trail, or a boardwalk through the woods to the Grand River far below, or through the sunny meadow. Plenty of parking. Clean single unisex bathroom.
Too big to enjoy in 1 trip. In our short walk we found tons of fungus among us. We will definitely be back again soon to explore more.
Great trails for nature walks. Plenty of trails for a pleasant outing. Restrooms are pretty much outhouses though. Terrible smell
Hogback Ridge is a great park and I always enjoy being here! I can't wait to come back here this summer with my family.
Hogback Ridge is beautiful year round. Plenty of walking trails that follow Mill creek and the ridge above.
One of my favorite parks to take a walk. Great for kids, dogs, elderly, everyone. Nice walk through the woods or a nice walk around a meadow. There is a path with a ton of stairs down to the river. Wheelchair accessible for the top paths though you can't do a complete loop on the woods trail.
Beautiful park with boardwalks, woods, paths, water, tons of wildlife and lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Something for everyone. Walking, hiking or climbing.
My 2 year old girl, my husband, son, and I had fun walking there. We are planning on having more trips out there and having picnics out there. The only thing that I would like to suggest is putting in a play ground for the kids and toddlers/babies.
Very good for fishing I love the place I always go fishing there they catch very big fish I recommend it
Beautiful park! I was able to enjoy the trails with my dog. There are three different paths: wooden, gravel, and dirt. The dirt path will take you down close to the water. The little waterfalls truly made this visit something special!
Beautiful well maintained trails that follow the the edge of a ravine.
Several access points to the lower flood plain
Small but interesting park. We will return in the spring or summer to have better access to the river. Hopefully we will be able to get a better view of the waterfall. There are lots of stairs down to access the river
Very pretty walk. Nice trail. Unfortunately a nearby gun range made it sound like a war zone.
