Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton North - Tipp City, an IHG Hotel

1) Very dated.
2) Breakfast was not very good, it lives up to free lol
3) Very slow to check in
4) Gym is a joke, so free weights and a couple of cardio machines.
**Only reason I give it a 2 star instead of 1 is the staff was pleasant.

I stayed there for business w the pipeline in Dayton. In the duration of the last 7 mos, like 50% of the rooms had bed bugs, no cleaning is really done. The green program has been a failure. I’m really glad the project reached a timely end 2 weeks ago and I no longer have to reside in Ohio. I do plan on talking to the health department of Miami/who ever is delegated to handle these affairs, in hopes the future occupants don’t have to deal with this nightmare of an establishment.

Hotel seems to be overcharging for what their quality level is giving, bed could have definitely been better. But they had pretty good service.

Book this hotel! After an hour of searching and reading reviews for other hotels I was left with a bad taste in my mouth in regards to Dayton's affordable hotel selection. But THIS hotel. Please book this hotel if you are driving through and need a clean, friendly, comfortable night stay. The kind woman at the front desk helped us with our late night check in and was a pleasant face after 9 hours on the road.

As a Diamond Elite member… The breakfast was the worst! The bed was like being on an amusement park ride. Every time my husband moved, I went for a ride! Ridiculous!

This is an okay Hotel, however there are pictures on their website which do not represent what the hotel has for amenities. They're currently is not any Jacuzzi rooms or hot tubs available on this property. However, you can rent a room from the website that has those amenities so they are misrepresenting the hotel. The hotel staff did figured out and make the change for the second night. So I did improve their rating.

Very convenient location with easy check in. Lobby appears to be well maintained and recently updated. Room is a little dated but very clean.

They were under construction when we visited. It was very late when we got there and the front desk guy was very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and the breakfast was hot! It's going to be a beautiful place when the remodel is finished!

Staff was extremely nice and helpful! Breakfast was fantastic. The room was a bit outdated, but extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price.

Said "newly renovated" it was not! And it was being renovated at the time. So open vents in the ceiling while we ate breakfast panels missing. Not so good.

The service was only good. That may seem weird to say, but I think service should be excellent or at least great when I entrust an establishment with my stay. This hotel was under construction, and it was shown by the small inconveniences that accumulated into a stay that was below average. I wish I had known construction was ongoing; I would have chosen a better location to stay.

This was a last minute thing to get the room, we had been traveling north and got hit with nasty weather so we pulled over and got a room here and I was glad we did. I normally like to do my research before I stay at hotels but just didn't have the time. It was a great experience! The room and hotel was very neat and clean. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise, hands down the best "continental breakfast" I've had at a hotel in years. I highly recommend this hotel the price is worth it!

Staff were friendly, house keeping was regular, bed was good enough for price. I stayed during renovation so there was alot of moving around. The room really needs to be updated though, very 1980s which is surprising for Holiday Inn. Nice to be given Toothpaste, Toothbrush etc. I didn't use the pool or gym but it's convenient to have one.

The pillows were a little heavy and hard, air conditioning did have a smell to it but apart from that it was good. I expect it'll be much better post renovation!

Front desk clerk was cheerful and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
