Holiday Inn & Suites Cincinnati Downtown, an IHG Hotel reviews
16The service was great, and the restaurant their was one of my favorites, and had some of the nicest workers, and had a great view of the city while you eat.
Fine hotel with a good downtown location. Appears recently renovated. We found it to be clean and generally in good condition. Easy and convenient garage parking next door, though it is $12 a day so keep that in mind. Several restaurants nearby within walking distance, though all required reservations on the Friday night we stayed (ended up at the bar). I would stay here again.
Overall good hotel. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Beds were stiff but nothing else to complain about.
I BOOKED THREE ROOMS AT THIS HOTEL FOR $180 A NIGHT PER ROOM FOR JULY 26,2023. I THEN RECEIVED A CALL FROM JACOB, THEIR OPERATIONS MANAGER, THAT THEY WOULD BE CANCELING MY RESERVATION BECAUSE THE HOTEL WOULD BE UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS DURING THAT TIME. THIS IS, IN FACT, A LIE. LOOKING AT THEIR WEBSITE, I COULD NOW RE-BOOK THE SAME ROOMS IF I WANTED TO PAY $541 A NIGHT PER ROOM. I GUESS THEY FIGURED OUT P! NK IS GOING TO BE IN TOWN. THIS IS THE EPITOME OF PRICE GOUGING. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL, NOR RECOMMEND IT TO EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!
Jacob came through in a clutch. I needed a room at the last minute and he did everything he could to accommodate.
A few blocks from the casino but a nice walk. Can get lost if don't pay attention. The motel was friendly clean and if ya don't know to use your room key at elevator you can be there for a few wondering why not moving. Swipe card it moves. Room service a bit a pushy to get into room before you check out. Wasn't comfortable with that part. Nice place to stay.
Great stay very clean and quiet. Hours of kitchen are very few and listed both online and in signage saying the hours, but the kitchen closes after breakfast until 4 and again at 9. Everyone was great. Shout out to Nick at the bar.
Jacob and staff were amazing. I was assisted in getting a room after traveling more than 5 hours and leaving a cheesy hotel. Jacob was waiting for me to get there, after my son called and told him I was in need of a room. I was one stop away from sleeping in my car. Thank you Holiday Inn for hiring such a thoughtful staff.
A modern hotel in the heart of downtown. Wonderful staff and well-designed and managed rooms.
Highly recommended
We enjoyed a nice overnight stay here with our family of four. The location is nice, being located within walking distance of much of downtown including the OTR area. The building is relatively fresh and modern, and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool. The rooms were spacious enough for our family, though there were a few letdowns including a broken TV remote and a tissue box with only one tissue. Service was friendly as well. Parking in the garage next door is relatively cheap, but doesn't allow in/out access.
My only issue is the size of the fridge. Other than that I love the coziness, storage and layout of room. Plus is in the downtown area ;)
Very nice hotel and easy, convenient location. Some of the staff could use training on better customer service.
Only issue I have is size of fridge. Other than that I love the coziness of room, storage and layout. Plus is in the downtown area ;)
For budget accommodations they do a very good job. Nothing fancy, but clean and friendly, with the facilities that you want and need. Be ready for the breakfast restaurant to always be late. The kitchen has not been ready at opening in all my stays.
Spent one quick night here. Very clean room. Front staff was great. They checked us in quick and had excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Only 4 blocks from the baseball stadium, great location. We'll be staying there the next time we're in town.
Front desk lady on 7/4/22 at noon was playing with her phone, sitting at the business center. I didn't know she was working the front desk. I thought she was a hotel guest. I had to call the hotel phone number, rang the front desk phone, to get her attention. She was clearly bothered by my request to check me in. I am sorry for disrupting her phone time.
