Holzer, Athens OH

First of all, this is not a hospital as the name suggest. It does out patient surgery, urgent care, and then of course all the docs that Holzer clinic (s) usually have. Calling this a hospital implies that if you have an emergency it is a place to go, which all their signs in urgent care will tell you what I am saying. They are not equipped as an ER/hospital. Their urgent care is great, equipped with x-ray and CT machine. The facility also has an MRI for when your doctor places an order for one. You of course, can not get MRI even at a true hospital for urgent care. It is strictly diagnostic. Their outpatient surgery center is nice. Their phlebotomy dept is nice. Ladies are good at drawing blood and don't fish around. I am an extremely hard stick too. Now, beside the name being a lie, the reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the doctors they have now are a waste of time. I do not know if they are overloaded or just didn't learn how to listen to what patient says or what? Also, they do not get your chart updated correctly, even when you repeatedly tell doctor it is not correct. Unless you get IT dept or quality service team involved. Thankfully I do not live in Athens county Ohio anymore so I have no need to go in there. Good riddance.

Great place to work! Great, friendly staff & management. Best move I could have made was coming here! If there's an opening, would highly recommend for anyone to come join us!
