He forgot to mention that our house has another attic which is a standard for this type of houses. We discovered it full of mold after we moved in. Also, he did not notice a dead tree on the backyard about 25 fit tall and not very far from the house (it cost us $3,000 to remove) and cracks on basement walls (not structural but still not pleasant to find it after the purchase). He was referred by a realtor and it was our huge mistake.

We asked Jack to inspect our new house. We had many many questions and lack of knowledge. Jack was very thorough in his inspection and found several things that had to be fixed. He found that the tree in front of the house is sick (even though it was still winter) and instructed us on how to maintain our house. He did all that with a lot of patience and with professional knowledge. After the inspection was completed, we called him for more help, and he assisted us with all our extra questions. We were very happy we hired him.

And, I suprised that Jack is very very professional, honest and careful. During the inspection (about 3 hours), I was with him. He explained the problems in the house to me, and also explained why these problems could cause trouble in the future. I learned a lot of things about house from him. The house I choosed looked very cute, but inside there were big problems which I did not notice before. I really appreciate him. He is always thinking about the position of the buyer!

Jack beat us to our own home and had completed 45 minutes of the examination before we arrived. With the extra time he stayed behind to ensure we had all the answers that we could possibly need including information outside the scope of what he was billing for. He helped us operate the fireplace and check out the sump pump, and ensured that our property would allow for what we had in mind.

He lastly provided a comprehensive report that we could use during closing to ensure we were getting a fair price for our house.
