Honest Abes is the only company I will work with for any HVAC service. My review is long overdue, however Abe and his crew had been out to my house a couple years ago, to fix my old leaking central air unit. Long story short, kept leaking and I ended up replacing the entire thing. Money I paid for the coolant, went toward my new unit! Fast forward to today, I received a call from my Dad and his furnace went out yesterday when it is single digits outside. I gave him Abes personal number in hopes that he could come out and fix it. He gave them a call back, was out within 2 hours, and fixed it at a great price. I appreciate the honesty of this company and will continue spreading the word! Thank you for helping my parents so quickly!

I can't say enough about the great service I got from Honest Abe's HVAC service.
My blower motor went out on a day it was single digits.
The owner, Mr Oleary was out within 2 hours and had it fixed quickly.
The price was very fair. I'll never call anyone else for HVAC service.

Wow! Honest Abe's is #1 in our book, best service ever. He returned my call promptly during an ice storm in Toledo and called me back soon after to let me know he had a truck in the area, the tech was there in 20 minutes and fixed it right away at a very good price. So happy to have picked them from 600 miles away! The house now has heat and they have a forever customer.

On 10/17/2023 I called Honest Abe's to come take a look at my furnace as it was blowing air but not hot air. I was assigned an HVAC technician Tim Woody. Mr Woody was friendly once he greeted me and went to take a look at my furnace. Mr. Woody quickly came to the realization that my furnace and condenser should be replaced because they were 15 years old and just couldn't be fixed. I knew this was a red flag because there was nothing wrong with my condenser. Mr. Woody proceeded to give me 4 different payment options the highest totalling up to $15,877 and the lowest around $12,000. Mr. Woody asked which one I'd like to go with and I told him I'd be getting 2 more bids. His entire demeanor then changed. He used my children against me saying what are you going to do with the cold weather coming and the kids being in the house? He clearly was not happy that I wouldn't agree to an absurd contract right on the spot. Needless to say an hour later I had another HVAC company come and they fixed the issue quickly and for only a $90 service call. Mr Woody is a crook and tried pulling on my strings to sign an atrocious contract to replace something not needing replaced so he could benefit on a bonus in his pocket. HIGHLY AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. They practically scammed me out of a $100 service call and attempted to scam me for over $12,000 at the least!

Our furnace quit running. I tried trouble shooting a few things that had worked in the past with no luck. I called after hours and was not able to get an appointment for a few days, but Abe personally called me back and walked me through a few simple steps to get my furnace running again. I am so grateful for this business and my family thanks you for our warm house Abe! I will recommend to all friends and family and will not hesitate to call again in the future.

Abe was great! He was able to squeeze me in right away and come inspect our A/C. He was very knowledge and even didn’t charge me a service fee and told me the right people to call to warranty my part that went out! Thank you Abe for being professional and soo quick!

As a senior, I never felt comfortable with workers in my house but Abe and his crew made it all a perfect easy and a good experience. The name honest fits perfectly! Best price and perfect work with a good price.

Came right out and diagnosed my issue for me. Wasn't able to exactly help me but was able to point me in the right direction to get my AC fixed. My unit was actually just very old and outdated.

Abe and his crew came highly recommended to me when my furnace went out. Abe showed up for a service call the same day. Unfortunately the furnace needed a lot of work and he was very clear with his recommendation and the benefits of repairing versus replacing. Our furnace was 24 years old so we opted to replace and they were able to complete the job immediately. If you are having issues and want quality honest work this is the company you want to do business with.
