Great food, and very friendly staff while waiting for an order. Food is prepared quickly if you walk in vs calling ahead. Other customers and staff all seem happy and friendly. I always eat too much of their shrimps. Will definitely be eating too much of their food again soon!

I’ve been completely here over the years and its a lengthy little drive. However, today was terrible! My shrimp was WAY over cooked and chicken not cooled enough! Very disappointed and will not return there.

Good fried chicken wings, only one type of seasoning. A little bit pricey for wings and Gizzards but it is very good.

The service is welcoming. Tiy can smell the delicious food from out the door. The food excellent. It's a little restuarant, similar to a mom and pops type. I'd your in the area you gotta try this place. Well worth the trip.

This is a must when I am in Youngstown. If I visit for 4 days I will pick up food 2 times. The wings and friars my go to. I also love the catfish or catfish nuggets.

I ordered a perch and chicken dinner today through door dash and I was NOT satisfied. It is advertised online as 4 wings & 2 pieces of perch with coleslaw and fries. ‍️ When I received my order I only had 3 pieces of chicken ‍️. So I immediately called them and I was told that they don't go off of the online menu ‍️. Which I don't understand since it's ADVERTISED AS SUCH! So I explained to them that it was falsely advertised online and the man got confused and said he was just a "cook". I asked to speak to a manager and was told that the MANAGER is NEVER THERE and they proceeded to hang up on me. They're very rude when it comes to customers service and I will be reporting to the BBB.

I ordered delivery. 1piece of fish, zucchini sticks, carrot cake.tip the delivery person 5.00.25.00 wasted to have to still leave my job.
My fish was soggy and greasy my zucchini sticks were burnt and no marinara sauce, and I got red velvet cake. I had to leave my office to take it back.
I observed the cook wiping sweat from her fore head with her bare hands handled monies and cooking all without gloves nor washing her hands. Hell, I didn't even see a box of gloves.
To make mattes worse the wrong cake she gave me she took it out the bag and but it back in the refrigerator. I was not offered a bottled water for my inconvenience or anything.
This will be my last time dining at this establishment.

Delicious fish. Love the seasoning on the fries & hush puppies. They give your money's worth! Glad they are open 7 days a week until 10-11 pm

Do not let the appearance turn you away. The food was delicious. The service was great. The pricing was decent. The only reason for a 4 star rating, instead of a 5 star rating, was the overall appearance.

Again, the food was delicious and the lady was very nice.

We ordered the ocean perch family dinner. They used to give you enough fries for a family of 4, now you only get enough for a family of two. We enjoy the lemon pepper seasoning on the perch though.

Got wings and fries by far the best wings I’ve ever had, there service was awesome so nice would definitely eat here again.

Hook Fish & Chicken was good. I got the catfish nuggets and fried shrimp with fries. I enjoyed the meal and it stays open reasonably late.

8/12/21 I just ordered a dinner at 3: 04
p.m. And they told me 10 minutes I got off the freeway and when I walked in the door at 3: 09 and my order was ready I asked the lady I said it hasn't even been 10 minutes yet and she looked at me and start laughing and the food was cold as if though they gave me a order someone didn't pick up it was very small portions not like I'm used to I would have had a lot of fries and a lot of mushrooms I might have got seven or eight maybe nine mushrooms for $3.99 poor horrible experience this time around I will from now on and check my order before I pay cuz it seem like she was wanting me to pay before she handed me the bag so I shouldn't do something was up then

I would advise everyone to check your order before you pay because they shorted the pieces in all the orders, 7 pieces of chicken instead of 10,23 pieces of skrimp instead of 30 that's not a mistake it's accomplished just just give me wat I pay for dam

Horrible customer service very rude! I usually go there to get food but after today I'll definitely pass it up everytime.

Oh man, the okra is amazing and not dried out at all! If you like gizzards, this is the place to go. The have amazing perch platters and hush puppies as well.
