Hope Cabins & Banquet, Galion OH

This is my first time visiting. We wanted to do something different to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary this year and I'm already planning to come back for my birthday and maybe Christmas!

My husband and I rented a cabin for a Saturday night we didn't have the kids, for a night away. The cabin had a jacuzzi and that was a primary factor in why we rented this cabin. The cabins are adorable and aesthetically everything was great. It was a cold day and the cabin was freezing when we arrived. We cranked the heat and fireplace to warm it, but noticed immediately that the one little wall heater didn't put out much air and the air was warm but not hot. Needless to say, the living room warmed up well with the fireplace but the bedroom and bathroom stayed pretty frigid all night. The biggest issue was the fact that we couldn't even use the jacuzzi, the main reason we rented this cabin. The jacuzzi is at the far end if the already cold bedroom and no where near a heat source. We thought we'd be okay once we got in but the hot water didn't last enough to fill the jacuzzi. The water went cold about half way. It's also well water and had a foul odor, but that is par for the course in a country setting. We still tried to get in the tub but was immediately goosebumped and frozen and forced to get out. We jumped under the covers to warm but because the room was also cold ended up having to pull out the living room sleeper sofa near the fireplace and that was where we had to sleep to stay warm. Needless to say we were incredibly disappointed with our stay, and it's a shame because it's a very cute and relaxing place. I'm sure if it were warmer out we would have had a different experience, but these issues should really be addressed or customers should at least be advised to them, to prepare accordingly.

Love this place I try to go once a year so peaceful beautiful cabins it's a good place to go and unwind and just relax

I was here today for a wedding it was my first time here and I fell in love with this place it's so beautiful. If you get a chance check it out and cute little cabins to rent venue was gorgeous inside.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size and accommodations of the cabin. If in the area again we will 100% stay here again. So cheap for everything included. The vaulted ceilings and tub are a huge plus. Only thing that would improve it I think would be a later check out time even if it was a small fee.

Very cute well put together. If your not used to stinky sulphur well water your in for surprise though.

We play bingo there and enjoy all the wonderful people! And what a beautiful place.
