I've been working with Horter Investment Management for the last couple of years, and have really grown to appreciate the personal and detailed approach that they take with their business. Aside from that, their ability to adapt to and overcome challenges is nothing short of impressive. Keep up the great work!

Todays Investment world seems to be fixated on returns. Personally I believe that narrow minded of an approach could be setting the stage for a disastrous ending should a market crash happen. I met the Horter team at a Dress for Success Cincinnati fundraiser and have had the opportunity to build a business relationship and get to know them over the past 6 months. They are a knowledgeable, caring and fun group. Their office is impressive, and their focus on education for their clients and the community is admirable. I've worked with the financial industry for years and met many advisor firms, and they are top ranking.

Generally I don't feel compelled to leave reviews for businesses or services, however I felt it worth noting what a genuine and positive experience I had working with the team at Horter. It's refreshing to meet a company who values the importance placed on managing one's financial future and the responsibility that comes with it.

I recently joined Radiant Technology Group, an audio visual solutions provider, as a Business Development Manager, essentially sales. And I even more recently visited one of my inherited accounts (Horter Investments) because of an audio issue in their board room. It was crunch time with a big meeting the next day. We offered to come on-site to assess and help resolve.

First was a conference call with Avery, Evelyn, and Sarah.
Next was our on-site visit. Because of their trial and error to fix their issue and their frustration, there was every reason to treat us in a frustrated, short, challenging sort of manner. Instead, they treated us as a co-worker, a colleague, a partner. Very professional, "collaborative, " and respectful.

Afterward, I thought, if they treat us this well during this engagement, imagine how well they treat their clients. A strong representation Avery, Evelyn, and Sarah are of their company and a telling indication of how they treat and tend to their clientele.

I am an advisor looking for a new home for my wonderful clients and have been talking with Mike and Jeff for the past few weeks and all I can say is that I have been treated like a king even with my small status. The team is always there for you and will help with anything you need. I am really happy I met this team and cannot wait to start working here.

Have had the pleasure of working with their team on new projects. It's great to see local companies stepping up to get involved and build a better community.

The folks at Horter are genuine, thoroughly knowledgeable of the ins and outs, strengths and weaknesses, and ups and downs of investing, the stock market, and how to protect their assets. I’ve worked with them and trust their insight and recommendations!

The business development team has continued to do an astonishing job, they are great at what they do and highly recommend them!

Awful, they refused to talk to me when I asked for a call to discuss an account and NEVER offered their condolences for their former client.

Avoid these idiots

I've had the pleasure of working closely with many of the members at Horter Investment Management. Their friendliness, professionalism and the family feel of the company made me feel right at home. It was refreshing to work with a company that prides itself on its accomplishments and has the desire to see me succeed as well. Highly recommend!

I have had the pleasure of getting to know the executive team of Horter over the last 6 months and I must say that they are absolutely great guys. Caring, personal, fun to be around, and extremely smart. In every conversation, they are always asking me questions about my life which truly lets you know they care.

From my first I interaction, I’ve been impressed with Horter’s approach to investments and retirement planing. It’s refreshing to know there are companies out there who have their client’s interests at heart.

UPDATE 1/15/2020 Do not be impressed with the beautiful sign in their lobby claiming a 'Fiduciary Standard of Care'. They claim 'low risk, and 'Defensive in bad times.opportunistic in good times'. Well they LOST nearly $30,000 for me in the best of times; during a period the market gained over 20%. Then I emailed Drew Horter to complain about their miserable performance and got no response. Evidently, a Fiduciary Standard of Care does not even warrant an email. This is more than extremely disturbing, does it rise to fraud?

Over a period of about 18 months, Horter has managed my account losing $24,000 while other investments I have with others have made money. The market, in general, has made gains. So far, their response to unsatisfactory performance has been unsatisfactory.
UPDATE 12 October 2019 So now Horter has LOST $30,000 during a time the major stock indices are UP 20%. When selling their services all you hear is 'safety' and how they take a fiduciary responsibility with their clients. NOW you can not get them to talk about their fiduciary responsibility nor how they are going to do anything at all to make up for their INCREDIBLY POOR PERFORMANCE.
