Hot Head Burritos, Vandalia OH

3 stars because they got my order wrong, but they fixed the following visit. They also take and do walk in orders before doing online orders, sat waiting a good 10 to 12 minutes waiting. Thought the purpose of online ordering was no waiting.

We had the same experience as one review already on here! Two girls they really didn’t want to make our order! They both had attitudes and was not polite at all! Laughed and giggled at us! We asked if we could get some green peppers and onions! That about made them made because she had to cook them and the peppers were still very hard! We asked for a manager she said she is the manager! Then we said we will contact higher up! All they did was laugh in our face! I will Never return to this store! My first time and A Very BAD EXPERIENCE! Stay AWAY THE TWO YOUNG LADIES WANT PAID BUT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I work in customer service this is not how you treat customers! Do BETTER!

The ladies there are awesome even though they don't have air conditioning and they try their hardest to do well in the ridiculous heat. The air conditioning definitely needs to be addressed, its sad they have to work with all that heat going and no air conditioning. New flooring but no ac? Poor ownership but great employees

Great food but could be kept cleaner at serving area. The impression given by some staff is that you are an annoyance.

Rushed service, half dozen missing ingredients, and the protein and veg didn’t taste fresh at all. Just go to chipotle.

This was my first visit to the Vandalia store. I was not impressed! First impression, 2 girls sitting in the customer seating on phones and looked at us with rolling eyes, like we were an inconvenience. The girl who waited on us must have been training because it seemed like she didn’t know what to do when we ordered. The girl training was instructing her from her seat. I was patient and understand new job jitters. She obviously was reading instructions on how to put the burritos together but was still putting the wrong ingredients on and out of some ingredients that were suppose to be on our order. We made it to the checkout and was charged 35.00 for 1 sweet habanero bowl, 1 Hawaiian burrito and a Gatorade. I told her the amount was not correct, she didn’t understand, the manager came out and I told her 4 times because they kept going back and forth with what we ordered, the bag was sitting on the counter next to them. I can’t tell you how bizarre the whole service experience was and strongly felt at the end, they were all on something. I will never go there again.

Update: Hothead offers a vastly superior array of customization at a slightly inferior quality of ingredients; which is understandable. Worth mentioning: they'll toast your burrito.

The Restaurant on National Rd did not appear clean. The servers did not wear hair covering. The serving area was in disarray. I walked in and walked out. I really wanted to try the fish taco so I put my brave face on and drove over to the one in Englewood. The serving area once again was a mess, all foods looked like they'd been sitting out all week. The workers were young and new wasn't very helpful. Anyway ended up getting the fish taco and they were surprisingly good. Imagine that? But don't think I'll be back anytime soon.o
Tried Hot Head when it first opened and today ai tried to give it another chance.

0 stars. Place is grungey. Never know when their closing. Horrible customer service. Worst HotHeads I've ever seen.

Not like the Hot Head burritos I was accustomed to in other cities. It was a very short staffed location and you could see it on the employees faces. The food was good the service was good I just feel that these employees were so overworked that it is affecting everything. Not that this is my place but if anyone needs a job please this location could probably use your help I appreciate everyone who was working yesterday and I'm sorry for what you're going through and good job good food and good service and I hope things get better because this location has great potential.

If they have all ingredients in stock, 10/10 5 star food, however about half the time i show up theyre out of a major ingredient.

Dylan and most of the others at this location really make it stand out. Always feel welcome. Staff is fantastic! ^^

I am in full agreement with the latest 1 star reviewers on this list. Employees are there to serve customers and in doing so ownership must insist that those people put into those positions are the type of people persons that love what they and not do a mediocre job. Why do you think customers choose Hot Head Burritos because they enjoy subpar food.

Think about this, you look forward the entire day to visit one of your favorite places to get a burrito or tacos for dinner. Of all the places to eat you're chosen Hot Head Burritos. It's only your favorite place because of good service, plenty of fresh ingredients, and properly prepared food.

There is not one single soul that looks forward to the end of the day meal because they know that they are going to receive poor service poorly prepared ingredients and are out of various items that would force you to choose something else on the menu. But wait, there's more.

There are moments that define the quality of a restaurant by the manner in which the employees respond to the customer. That was very apparent when one must constantly repeat themselves and at times those employees look at the other employee and yet we are still waiting for a response to the question.

They are open until 10pm. It was 8pm. No soft taco shells, no brown rice, no fajitas, maybe a spoonful of corn left. We've been at this location and many times walked out because they are out of ingredients or other items to complete the order. What makes it worse is standing in line for a bit then.surprise, we don't have this and we don't have that. We've asked and they acknowledge they have the items, they just need to be prepared.

Something happens at this location after 7pm that changes the whole dynamic of what being a good restaurateur is all about. When it appears that there is more attention and focus on straightening the little black condiment cups that sit in the bin on the line, then all bets are off when it comes to great service.

There have been a couple of times that we've gone more than a year not visiting this location for some of these very reasons mentioned and also those mentioned by other reviewers. It's easy to do when there anticipated exceptions not met that too often occur.

Very rude and lazy employees.
When I walked in I noticed they barley had any food that was ready. So I asked "can I get some fresh food" and they look at me funny and said it'll be a minute and I said "that's fine no hurry".
While they were pulling the food out they kept saying " get their "freeesh food ready". Really specifying the word fresh. One of the girls that was there was so upset for some reason that she walk to the backroom. Luckily by that time other customers came in and knew that I wasn't being a problem. I even talked to some of them and they said that they have to ask for fresh ingredients all the time.
I'm sorry I made your employees work while they were at work lol but seriously at least I know I'm not the only one that has this problem judging from the other reviews.

The food was fresh and the workers were very kind and fast. The only downfall was the broken ice machine. The food was delicious.

There were three young men working there who were all very helpful and professional. The food was really good.

Not really happy with this location.there always out of sause's.never have any veggies cooked when I'm there and the manager is always on her phone doing whatever on it but not helping her employees
