Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Very seldom do folks seem to genuinely take pride in providing exemplary service to strangers. Joy at reception did just that. Joy went above and beyond to greet me warmly and accommodate me after a tremendously rough 24hrs of travel. 10/10 would recommend and stay in the future. Thanks Joy!

Rooms were nice, clean and spacious, pillows and bed super comfortable. The hotel looks modern! It’s well located only thing is that
valet it’s 45$. There’s no easy parking near by. We spend about 140$ a night plus valet.

Location for sporting events of Playhouse Square is great. Very small room, too small for a family of four. Finding hairs in sheets that do not belong to us.
Restaurant is overpriced with small portions. $21 for pasta with one meatball and a tiny sliver of garlic bread. The sauce for all the pastas is spicy arrabiata. $6 for a tiny side salad. $4 coke, no refill. Slow service when there were only about eight people in the whole place. We’re booked her for two nights, and if there were any way to escape without paying a cancellation fee, we would in a heartbeat.

Great hotel to stay in if going to a event at rocket mortgage fieldhouse or progressive field.

Heating unit made noice every time it turned on for 2-3 minutes. Kept us awake most of the night. When I complained to the front desk they asked many questions as if we didn’t know what we were talking about and basically blew us off. One of the pillow cases had blood drop on it. The internet was sketchy. Had to use my cell minutes. Only good I could report was the restaurant was good service was good.

Great employees that are easy to talk to and helpful. Great location for Cavaliers and Indians (Gaurdians) games. Great bar and restaurant connected to the hotel, with great food.

We had a quick stay over arriving after 2am. Darrel on the overnight staff was great in getting us checked in. I called ahead due to the late hour to make sure the reservation was all good, he was able to pull it up and verify things for us. Once we arrived around 3am, he had our keys already made, gave us a quiet corner room and set us up with a late check out. Fantastic experience even if it was quick.

Rooms were great. Quick and easy to get to the sports areans. Service was above expectations

Lovely staff. Julia and Joy were a delight. They gave me the best room available. 5 stars to them.

Taking four stars away from the hotel,

Two for the exorbitant parking fee of $45 plus tax. They parked my car at 'Q Arena Lot' next to the hotel, which is a prepaid only location. If you pre-pay and book it, it was only $11 for 24 hours. Hope this information helps other travelers.

Taking two more for the total nonchalant response they had to my original post. Really shows how much they care (or not).

Phenomenal restaurant staff! Housekeeping needs improvement.

At breakfast, the waitress asked how my night was. I said the room was a bit loud. She immediately had the room changed without being asked. I loved that it came up naturally because I probably wouldn't have said anything about that otherwise.

The overall customer service and hospitality of the restaurant staff far exceeded my expectations. One waitress was so attentive Wednesday evening when I stopped by for a quick dessert. She made some suggestions to help get me closer to what I was craving without having to go out in the cold (impromptu root beer float.) Her demeanor was also so pleasant and open, like a family member was taking care of me.

Both rooms I stayed in had globs of shampoo/soap dried onto the shower floor. You could tell it hadn't been scrubbed between guests. Also, in the first room, I found dried rose petal crumbs in my sheets, and it looked like the floor wasn't swept. I'm pretty sure the bedding wasn't fresh, so I slept on the top sheet because I had come in later than expected, was sick, and just needed to sleep.

Hopefully, the next time I visit the housekeeping will be better. That one detail changing would make it a 5 star experience for me. Thank you, restaurant staff!

DO NOT STAY HERE: Service is horrible! They are very rude at the counter. Was trying to get help on my room and they would rather cancel my room then help with a solution.

We just spent 2 nights here for our 2 year anniversary, even with the construction going on, our stay was incredible. View wasn't the greatest out the windows. Staff was over the top nice and we felt so special at so many different moments. Perfect location for the hockey game we went to, literally right next door to the hotel. Went down and got some of the breakfast buffet and that was good, server was super sweet. All around a good experience. Thank you to the hotel and staff for a great stay for us. Will definitely be back.

Location was great to Rocket Mortgage Arena. Room was pretty noisy with elevator going up and down.

Staff was pleasant. Hotel was well-kept and clean. Close to venues and stadiums.walkable! A varied amount of restaurants and pubs to choose from within walking distance. Valet parking was worth it. Only downside.breakfast wasn't included, but was offered.

Pros: Clean room, good location, and very nice Valet service and breakfast staff in the restaurant
Cons: The hospitality offered by the receptionist was all but hospitable. She was very rude when we walked around to check out the bar and restaurant upon our arrival before 4pm. When looking for snacks in the “marketplace”, she was also very snippy like it was a problem to purchase something.
The room was updated but handle on faucet kept coming loose, toilet had difficulty flushing properly, and room temp was hard to regulate.

Not sure what's going on with security. But the little guy should tone it down. Other than that I had a nice time. Malcolm is a delight

Overpriced, basic room, no view, but the staff was all super friendly. Valet is the only option at $45, just nothing special, to say the least.
