Staff is always helpful. Food is always good whether You eat in or take it to go more than enough. Very helpful with community resources, food pantry, etc
Just an FYI, they serve lunch 7 days a week from 11: 00 to 1: 00 free to the community

Great place to get toiletries and other things as far as hygiene products and food and clothes

Wonderful staff and impeccably run/organized establishment. It is filled with smart and hard working people that choose their work because they were built to serve.

Food donations are always needed and used with great efficiency, as with all other donations.

Hot and tasty meals are prepared every day of the week in a city that increasingly struggles with food insecurity.

These azholes gave me a shoebox full of sht no one would eat and smiled and said I could come back in a month and get more.
Someone's pockets are getting lined in that place. It needs to be investigated.

I grateful that on Wednesday there is a stand out front with free clothes and things s well as the meals and pantry items they provide.

That I've never been he at all to say that this a big mistake that they need to know that I have never stopped there ever not once in my life not once not even to need to go there for nothing that this is someone using a device In my name that Google needs to fix this that I have only still device and know other device in my name

Good hot food and a nutritionally balanced meal. The people are friendly and helpful. They even give toiletries if they get the donations for it.

I love this place! The people here as staff enjoy helping others in the community, with food, items. GREAT FOOD! I EAT HERE OFTEN AND WILL SAY THEY NEVER TURN AWAY ANYONE NO MATTER WHAT! Kudos to all the staff who job is to keeping our community fed, safe with there out pour of hands willing to help!

Have been going here for 2 years after today never again everyone in this place knows i have 4 kids i walked 20 minutes in the rain to get food and was denied because my kids didnt come with me im not getting them out in the rain if i dont have to its crazy ridiculous so everyone make sure your kids go or they will go hungry like mine did today its absolutely sad

About 5 years now on and off when I needed food they were always the place to go personalities clash sometimes but isn't that Life? I am not judged and it's a blessing to eat anything served.masterful they are its amazing how good the food taste. Thank you melodie and staff.

House of Bread is the place to be to get a nice meal and information that can help you out. The staff is very nice and helpful. Now you can take family size trays home to feed your family on weekdays and weekends too. I been going to House of Bread, when they use to be on Salem Ave cross from BP gas Station and Rally's back in the day, when I was little. Its really nice inside since they remodel the whole place. Can forget their food pantry staff too. They are really nice and down to earth people.

I cannot say enough good things about The House of Bread! I work for a substance abuse treatment facility that provides transitional housing to about 40 clients. Part of my job is to help our clients connect with resources in our community, including local food banks/kitchens. HoB has been a true gem. Our partnership with HoB began when I contacted them on the Monday before Thanksgiving and asked if there was any way they could help us by providing Thanksgiving meals for 20 people. To my surprise, Melodie responded almost immediately and said “we would love to help. ” When I showed up earlier than they expected, they apologetically asked me to come back in an hour, when I returned they had hot meals and dessert for all of our clients. On occasion, I contact them for assistance with food and the answer is always “of course” and they are always so generous. They recently provided our Christmas meals for about twice as many people and even sent 3 extra boxes full of a variety of foods. Today I picked up our New Year’s meals and even after a hiccup with the scheduling, Melodie was just as sweet as ever! I have had the opportunity to speak with several of their employees/volunteers and each and every one has an incredible story and all are so genuine and kind; you can really tell they love helping others. HoB has been such a blessing to us and our clients!

House of Bread is always good they have security there they do limit how many people are are in the building at a time post covid-19 all meals are to go although they do have limited setting to dine in with a time limit of 15 minutes you can always get a good balanced meal here but outside you have to be careful cuz there are a lot of people they don't give a care about anybody but themselves and are willing to start fights and be abusive
