House of Hunan, Cleveland OH

Meal came out on large plate and heaping with food but a lot of veggies with small amount of meat. Food is good for the amount you get. I did take home half of my meal. Friendly and fast service.

Had the chow mein lunch special. Great price for amazing food. Chow mein contained water chestnuts and pea pods, a first for me. Choice of soup and egg roll came with the lunch special. Exceptionally generous portion. Will definitely be back!

Had the Moo Goo Gai Pan it was fresh and tasty and the Pu Pu Platter is great value. Lots of good food for the $$

Nice people and great food for the money. I get take-out a lot. Huge helping of rice and chicken. Delicious

Was a wensday at 5pm. Food was not good. Lady was friendly and i didnt have the heart to tell her but i hope she sees this review and makes a come back. Chicken was fryed nice but the flavor was really off. Lo mein noodles had a weird chemical flavor. And my wife got some kind of beef rice noodles with shallots. Beef was super low quality and had that hard fat line like all low quality cuts do, and they where onions not shallots, and the rice noodles where crunchy. Read the previous reviews views, and had high hopes. Food arrived quick but the taste was all missing.

Edit. After getting home we both feel sick and on the toliet. Avoid 100%

We just moved to the area and was looking for a new Chinese/Hunan Food. After reading some of the reviews From other restaurants we came to House of Hunan and give it a try. After calling the nice Chinese girl said 25 minutes!
NOT. U COME NOW! Yes people they cook fresh! Their food is not only generous is Outstanding. Don’t let my wife start! 10 stars

Orders are larger than I expected. $10 literally was like 3 servings compared to most of the Chinese restaurants places I've gone. I ordered H-5 combo General Taos and it was 10 chicken fillers, a bowl of rice egg roll and 3 large broccoli florets. Will definitely be coming back. Just going to split an order next time.

Food is always fresh and portions are huge. Dining in is better than ordering take out since the vegetables continue to cook in the containers so they tend to be less crunchy but still very good for takeout.

This is the best Chinese we’ve had in the area. Absolutely delicious and generous portions. The staff was very friendly and appreciative of our business. Keep up the great work House of Hunan.

Small restaurant but has the most delicious and fresh Noodles soup and fried rice

Well I got the general tso chicken combination wasn't that great the sauce tasted plain and a tasted like it was microwaved and the plastic containers had a hole in it and went all over in the bag worst Chinese for i ever had

Always on point. My go to for lo mein. Great egg rolls Good price and fast friendly service

Chicken Lo Mein was literally drenched in brown/soy sauce, like a swimming pool. Noodles weren't great either. The 'Singapore Mei Fun' had way too much curry powder, something like a powdered donut. The beef in that meal wasn't good.

This is the 2nd time we have ordered from House of Hunan in Middleburg Hts. We tried two other Chinese restaurants in the area and by far they have been the best. The staff is very friendly and the food we ordered was delicious! We just moved into the area about a year ago and this will be our new Chinese restaurant.

This place has amazing food and fair prices. They have the best lomein in town! I would recommend them highly!
