Always enjoy camping here. Have been coming here many years. This last time we came all was good. Until a group of girls put up their tent almost on top of our camp site! Quiet time there starts at 10 pm I believe. They were hollering, arguing, till 4am! $36 a night to camp here. Really nice camp ground very friendly and proffesional staff! Wish they would roam around a bit more to kinda put a stop to that kind of stuff there. But still enjoyed our selfs as always here.

Electric sites are typically loud and many are on severe hills or very small. Non electric sites however are flat, spacious, and much more quiet. Hueston Woods has a lot to do for everyone- fishing, hiking, swimming, boating, Nature center. We love it here and the place tends to be cleaner and better taken care of than other Ohio state parks.

The campsite was spacious. Park was beautiful. Very little cell service. Bank fishing is difficult due to the number of washed up debris. The hiking trails are well worn but not clearly marked. They are a rabbit warren of bike trails.

Our family went camping at the Hueston Woods. We had such an amazing time. The campground was clean, everybody was friendly and helpful. Other campers were happy and fun. There was a nice big checker board, nice playground, and restrooms were clean and stocked. The campsite hosts were kind, and worked hard. The beach was nice, lots of seagull poop in the grass tho. The dock/marina was nice to fish from. The nature center was small, yet neat to see the animals. This was a great experience and our family can't wait to go back again.

We love it. When I met my husband almost 26 years ago he told me about Hueston Woods and how he went many times to camp when we was a kid growing up, and we gone every year sometimes 2x a year since we met, taking the kids. I love it it such a nice park and campground so peaceful.

Nice area but.camping is troublesome. Let me at I love camping at ODNR parks. However this one had some challenges. Don't book E3 unless you want dirt/mud area. I'd recommend to ODNR to remove this lot from booking. Also sites are very close and have some serious slope/grade if you are not on A or B loops. I now know where I will go when I return (see I will go back just not to the poor sites). Just do some research and stay where you want but be cautious as some sites will cause you problems. Majority of sites you put camper in grass and park vehicle on asphalt pad. Bring levels and block you may need them if not A and B.

My family is very nature friendly, and this state park, is an amazing reminder that nature is worth protecting. Swimming, boating, and decent fishing (in certain areas), this place is extremely family friendly. We enjoy camping here as often as possible. With great rates and clean sites, you cannot ask for more.

Very unfriendly staff. I really do not know what they pay them for.as they know nothing about nature or the park they work at. This comment excludes “Brenda”, who is great and works at the Camp Store. Brenda, you’re awesome!

Loops A and B are typical ohio state park camping sites and good for Rvs and trailers. Loops D through G are grass parking and not all sites, even if listed for trailers, are setup functional. We had to use an extension cord for electric hookup and water in the area is not for campers, no hose hookup. The park is beautiful just be careful of the site you pick.

It's a nice park, however there isn't water hookup to most of the sites. It's also impossible to get an extension on the checkout time. I had to pay for an entire extra day because I needed 2 1/2 hours due to an event I was attending.

Great place to camp you meet other campers and there are a number of things to explore. Marina is ok needs attention but you can have a good time renting a boat. Bicycle trails are great. Walking trails are good. The Covered bridge and picking area is great. The Nature center is great under construction as this post but the naturalist that over see this area have things going on all year. Come see the Great lodge it is going under construction here soon but will be better than ever. Many things for you and your families to do and see.

FABULOUS dog park! Only stayed a night, and some facilities seem old, but staff friendly and park clean.
I'm looking forward to full hookup sites!

Had a good time lots of things to do with the family. But, to go swimming in the pool you have to pay $10 for all day and some do not have to pay. You are suppose to get a wrist ban and is to be checked by the life guard which was not being done.
Camping was good, however we had to stay in the Horseman’s camp site which the kids had fun and was quite most of the time. They say that you can have a golf cart but according to the horse people they do not want golf carts in the camp site due to it may scare the horses. We had an upset horse man come to our camp and threaten my son. He called the cops. The horse man stated that we did not belong there because we did not have a horse. Well we payed just like they did and is was an over flow area for regular camping. They need to work on this. This is a group of people that think they own the area.
