Huffman Park reviews
16Love Huffman park. I take my dog there every day for exercise and other people there are always very considerate. Love the path and they also have a giant field to run around in with your pup, also a side note if you like golfing. Tons of free golf balls lost in the grass can save you money!
Not much playground equipment and the play area is where all the water drains so it's always wet. Nice walking path though
The grounds are always well kept, great place for kids to play and learn about local wildlife and flora and great atmosphere/scenery for adults while they get in some exercise if need be. There is no entrance fee and no fee for parking and with the park sittng right up next to fairfield greens (a pretty large golf course) makes for more of a large park feel
Well, it's a beautiful park, and I would have loved to spend more time there, but the park rangers seem to think they need to close the park early. My husband and I showed up at 8: 20pm tonight, knowing we were a little late for the park, but seeing as the park hours say they're open until 9, we figured we had plenty of time.nope! As soon as we walked up to the park entrance, a park ranger with a snotty tone said "just so you guys know I'm closing up in 10 minutes! " Well, I'm bad at math, but I thought the park was going to be open for 40 more minutes, not 10. Hmmm. Maybe the city has a different sort of concept of time? Not sure, but I'd love for someone to explain it to me.
A nice place to take a walk and spent some time in a quiet area. There is a small play area for kids, but not much outside of a couple slides.
Huffman Park is a hidden gem. This is a very clean Park with lots to do for the family. There are two picnic shelters. And lots of educational signs to learn about the many trees that are in the park. There are restrooms as well. The half mile walking path is nice and makes for great breeze walking. Also, this is my favorite location to watch Fairfield's fireworks in July (but don't tell anyone).
Hidden gem in Fairfield. Well kept and light traffic. Parking and restrooms. Has a small pond and there were ducks.
We aren't dog ppl, there was a lot of dogs there and some ppl were letting them on the slides so it kinda ruined the kids playground for us, which is sad cause they had limited things for kids. We loved the community garden and the different fruit trees there.
Beautiful park with 2 covered shelters, nature trail and community gardens.use of sunset is lovely.
Super nice little park to walk with pet, kids, or by yourself. It has a paved. 5 mile trail around a playground and pond. The pond has a little dock to get closer to the ducks and fish. If you are lucky, you can see a turtle or frog. They have a nice bathroom with a water fountain if you need it and dog waste bag stations. The playground is more for older kids with steep slides. There are tons of little trees with name cards by them. Lots of wildlife in the open field. It does have two moderate hills for the walk path. Not much shade but has two shelters with picnic tables. They also have community garden plots I believe you can rent.
Nice park for walking on paved trail shelters for groups and kids play area. Also features a pond with a small floating dock. This pond is aerated by a windmill that powers a pump on the other side of the park! Check it out!
So serene! It's always so peaceful when I come to this park. I think my kids to feed the fish and the ducks and even the turtles. They love it
Blues and Hammons BBQ Saturdays at 6pm, Nice little park with paved walking trail and playground.
Listened to a blues band tonight. Had pulled pork, chips, and ice cream to go with it. Was a great evening.
Nice walking park with a pond, a resident duck and an incline. About 1 mile around. Usually quiet and ckean
