Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Dublin OH

The steak and sides were excellent. Our service was good, but not as good as we'd come to expect when dining at other Hyde Park locations. We were disappointed with the crowded and rowdy room. Tables were so close that wait staff had difficulty moving between them without bumping into chairs. No one there dining seemed to know about "inside voices" and we learned way more about the lives of people at other tables than we cared to. As atmosphere goes, it was similar to a Texas Roadhouse. For that reason alone, we would probably not go back.

Out last two visits have just been ok. We expect better service for that price. Value simply isn’t there. Better places in town for a high-end dinner.

Pre-pandemic, I used to work for a company located on the same road and we often treated our guests at this location. One time, I brought a guest over for dinner. I had dry aged bone-in ribeye. Everything was fine at the restaurant. When I got home, however, I felt nauseous, tried to go to sleep but couldn’t. After midnight, I started to show signs of food poisoning, and let’s just say it came out of both ends. The next day, I left a message on their corporate website, saying I was food poisoned at this location. A gentleman called me within 24 hours and asked me what happened. I told him the whole story. At the end of the phone call, he promised he’s going to look into it and get back to me. Of course, I am still waiting to hear from him to this day.

Great atmosphere. Staff is attentive and professional. Amazing steaks with equally amazing sides. Everything cooked to perfection. An above par facility worthy of any occasion.

Update to this review; We've been coming here on a fairly regular basis for quite some time now. Staff, food, atmosphere is still top notch but, I feel like they've upped their game a little. Something definately was different tonight and in a good way. Nice to go somewhere and have that feeling that you matter and your business is appreciated. Making a great thing better, Nice Work!

Excellent all around meal. Save room for dessert. The butter cake w bananas foster topping is AMAZING!

Excellent dinner and service. Oysters, lumb crab apps, steak and creme brule, all top notch.

I am following up with my one star review I left at Hyde Park in Dublin, Ohio. Julia K left a message on here for me to contact the General Manager because they take feedback very seriously. I emailed them at the address given and left the in information they requested and after one week NOBODY has contacted me. What a joke, really sad they cannot follow through with what they advertise, I will never dine at this place again.

This was really good I loved my steak and the garlic whipped mashed potatoes were so good definitely will go again and try something new.

Some of the best food I have ever eaten! Please do yourself a favor and make your reservations now.

Great service as soon as you walk in and it only got better! I have spent more at other high end steakhouses and left unsatisfied… not here. Great good, service all the way around. Thank you!

My partner and I chose to have our surprise anniversary dinner here, spur of the moment. They took our reservation on short notice with no problem at all.

Food was amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection.

-Very friendly and accommodateing wait staff.
-Clean.
-Perfect food and great menu. Plenty of things to choose from for all types.
-Staff wasn't pushy for us to order. We received our apps, upon finishing them, our entree came out shortly after. Great timing on portion rotation.
-An interesting tidbit, the wait staff works as a team to serve tables. So if you need something for the table, and not dont happen to see your server, another server will get whatever you need.

Would highly recommend!

Steak was amazing, the srewamed corn side was mouth watering. The Manhattan was one point! The bananas foster, phew damn that good.

Just had a wonderful steak and Chilean sea bass. Service was excellent. Chris was a great server, had fun with our group. Can’t wait to come back. Great happy hour!
