Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse reviews
16We went here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Despite reservations and it being a Wednesday night, we were placed at this tiny table, so it was a bit cramped and uncomfortable. I noticed a few other reviews mentioned poor seating related to anniversary dinners, so maybe that is not their strength. That being said, everything else was amazing. Our server was excellent and the food was great. I would go back but be more assertive about table options.
The service was uncanny (Nate and Jess are ridiculously amazing and attentive.can't talk about them enough), the food is heavenly, and even with the hustle and bustle of Crocker Park, the ambiance made it feel like we were dining in an exciting and romantic venue. What an amazing experience.
The perfect setting for a special celebration. We've dined here before and they most certainly did NOT disappoint. Joel took care of us again and even remembered us from last year - that's pretty impressive. Our Dirty Martini's were spectacular and our appetizers (Oysters for my husband and Shrimp cocktail for me) were fresh and delicious. My husband got the Strip steak and I got my very favorite - Steak Oscar and you barely needed a knife to cut them.our most favorite place for a special dinner. Thank you Hyde Park for an amazing experience!
I ordered a sandwich and Caesar salad on Sunday eve June 18th at 9: 30 pm and order confirmed on line. I arrived approximately at 9:/5 pm and told bartender I wish to pickup my order and embarrassed me in front of all the patrons telling me I never placed an order and showing me tablet with other orders. I could visually see several chefs working in kitchen preparing foods. So I exited and checked email and there was confirmation of order placed. I returned to Hyde Park and staff me.ber tried to prevent my entry into this establishment but I stepped in considering I wanted either my order or refund. The manager shows up and tries to show me that order for cheeseburger and Caesar Salad is for 3 pm Monday the next day when I double check that order was for Sunday evening. I leave at that except the night before I ordered and spent $65 at Hyde Park. I wouldn't have written this revue if they had extended some common courtesy and not been embarrassed like a scam artist in front of other patrons.
Excellent service. The staff was friendly and went beyond our normal expectations. Thank you for making our last minute private, large family dining expectations next level.
Waitress was not very nice nor checked to see if my party was good! My food was not up to expectations, I explained my chicken was soggy & tasted like it sat in grease & she just said “awe”. Was not helpful.
Love this place. Since COVID, many restaurants hire anyone to work. Thank you Hyde Park for hiring staff that actually care about customers and quality of fine dining.
The food was very good, staff extremely friendly, and ambiance perfect for a special night out or upscale business dinner.
The food was awesome I ordered at 36 day dry aged bone in Ribeye. Only reason they missed one star is because they forget to put steak sauce in the bag.
Amazing food. Bring your credit card though won't be cheap but worth it. Excellent service
This is one of the rare, high quality service restaurants still around. The hospitality is second to none, and the prices aren't unreasonable for the incredibly finely dishes served. The perfect place for a fine date night or special occasion.
We celebrated a birthday here recently. The food and atmosphere were amazing and our server, Nicole was phenomenal! We had fillets, ribeye, and the Wine and Gold tomahawk steak. As a table, we ordered lobster Mac ‘n cheese, Brussels sprouts and French fries. We also ordered the bacon appetizer. All delicious. They even brought my daughter a s’mores dessert with a candle and gave her a birthday card signed by the staff. We will definitely be back!
For a couple of weeks we had a 5: 30 PM reservation, recently, to celebrate our 35th anniversary. When we arrived we were told that it would be a few minutes “to get your table ready. ” We were then taken into the noisy bar and offered a booth with a view of the TVs blasting the golf channels. When we balked at this table we returned to the hostess stand while the hostesses whispered about our objection to being seated in the bar and one of the other hostesses rolled her eyes. I was ready to leave when we given a two-top in the restaurant. Our server was fine, but the preparation of my wife’s entree was underdone. A manager did come around and asked how we were enjoying ourselves and my wife engaged him about the bar seating situation—he acted as if we were utterly ridiculous for declining the “highly desirable and requested table. ” Here’s the thing, we have been celebrating Christmas Eve dinner therewith our family annually for a decade and we thought that while this wasn’t the most romantic venue—that we would have a great meal in a decent restaurant. Instead the whole experience was soured by the idiotic treatment of us over trying to seat us with the walk-in crowd at the bar. We won’t be back.
Anthony is a really nice employee not sure if he’s a chef but he works in the back ask him for change for a parking meter and he was so nice to help me out and get me change.
Hey, everyone who’s dying to know my experience. I had the best experience ever and I tell you the ceaser salad was the bombI reserved for 10 for my birthday celebration. Omar was my waiter and Sara was around for a little lol. But, I tell you this is the best experience I’ve had in a dine in restaurant! I’m so happy that everything was good and I’ll recommend every one to dine in for any occasion. Thanks team you guys rock.
